New York Times, Washington Post, NBC News All Forced To Retract False Claims About Trump Lawyer Rudy

Wonder why the fake news media like those, even bother printing retractions to their fake news stories?

 

Possible lawsuits, or so they can say they did.

But who even notices? The damage has already been done. Mission accomplished.

 

That is how reputable news sources are meant to operate. When their sources of information are found to be incorrect, they voluntarily issue retractions because it is the truthful and right thing to do.

Whereas news sources that don’t care about journalistic integrity wait for defamation lawsuits to force them to issue apologies.

Yes the retractions come out of their integrity and kindness of their hearts.
Were the retractions on the same place pages with as large headlines as the original stories?
