Proving God exists.

There is a problem with the notion of proving God exists.
An existence is presumed without proof. Existence, what ever that means, exists. Why would existence need God?

Acts of the Apostles 17:28, ". . . For in him we live, and move, and have our being; . . ."

I was thinking more along the lines of passages like Romans 1.

Paul tells us that knowledge of God and ven the Godhead is evidenced in Creation itself.

The problem is not a lack of proof but men denying what has been evidenced to them.

God Himself is actually the fundamental self evident truth.

And we as believers in our Lord Jesus Christ actually know God through Him, Romans 8:9. 1 John 5:9-13, John 17:3.

I agree. Existence is something I would consider as proof or evidence (Paul speaks of God being made known through Creation as self evident - we all know it, and we all deny this truth until we come to Him in Christ).

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
~ Romans 1:18-23

But as you said elsewhere - "I can prove God exists. All Creation testifies to God's glory. But an atheist will never accept the proof."

1.7 million to anyone who can prove Covid exists and causes disease and death

I can prove God exists. That does not mean everybody will accept that proof.

It has been proven the earth is round. Not everyone accepts that proof.

There is proof we landed on the moon (proof scientists use to this day) but not everybody will accept this proof.

In other words, people exchange the truth - what Scripture says has been made evident- for a lie.

That is why disbelief is a sin. It is a form of rebellion against what has been manifested.

Existence of God is all around us. Existence was created by God It could not create it's self.

The problem with the notion of "proving God exists" Existence does not need the proof, God does. Besides what ever is contingent upon existing is not God. Things in existence are contingent on God.

Existence exists. God's Hebrew Name means the Self Existent. The Apostle Paul said of God, in Him we live and move and have our being.
