REVEALED: U.S. government gave $3.7million grant to Wuhan lab at center of coronavirus leak scrutiny that was performing experiments on bats from the caves where the disease is believed to have originated

U.S. government gave $3.7million grant to Wuhan lab that experimented on coronavirus source bats | Daily Mail Online
Where in this link, is there any evidence that Dr. Fauci lied?

Remember - you made the claim, it is your responsibility to support it. Posting a link and then forcing me to find what I can almost guarantee is non-existent evidence in that link is not fair game.

If you posted the link to support your claim that Dr. Fauci lied, surely you know where in the webpage that evidence is.

Wait, wait, wait.

You are going too fast for me.

Is your strategy a moving target is hard to hit?

How about prosecuting the first case ?

You know, the one about this:
Newly-Released Documents Detail US-Funded Coronavirus Research at Wuhan Institute of Virology: Report

You have not yet made any rebuttals to the witnesses posted.

A portion of the grant money, $599,000, was directed to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) for research, including altering bat coronaviruses that were deemed likely to infect humans.

The disclosure seems to contradict claims by Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and NIH Director Dr. Francis Collin—both have said that the grants did not back gain-of-function research.

“These NIH grant documents further indicate that Dr. Fauci and Dr. Collins have broken trust with the American people,” said Rodgers, Rep. Brett Guthrie (R-Ky.), and Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-Va.), according to a statement released on Sept. 7.

“For months, Dr. Fauci dismissed any consideration of the lab leak theory despite, or perhaps because of, his agency’s involvement in risky coronavirus research at the Wuhan lab. Dr. Collins has repeatedly denied what these documents now show,” the lawmakers added.
Do you really believe this constitutes evidence?

First, we need an explanation of why it is a lie for Fauci to say that the grant did not back gain of function research.

Surely you are not expecting the reader to take the word of three Republican politicians as real evidence? They likely do not know the difference between gain-of-function and gain-of-luncheon.

"What is the evidence for the lie? "

What is the last word in the question above?
I am obviously referring to the lie you guys are accusing Dr. Fauci of perpetrating!

I have never accused you of lying, period, full stop.

Ok Andre, I accept your explanation.

Now please show me that kkkoivei did not come from the Wuhan, US funded lab.

You cannot simply post a link and expect me to find your evidence for you - you have the responsibility to find the relevant text from the article that demonstrates that Dr. Fauci lied. And I am quite sure there is no such evidence. But, we'll see - find it if you can.

But it is the job of the accuser - you in this case - to present evidence. And no, someone else simply claiming that Fauci lied is not evidence!

Twist and Shout Andre.

Accuse accuse without proof.

How about KoiVei coming from a US funded lab in Wuhan, China?

You are avoiding that by denying the evidence provided saying it's invalid.

And you know this, how?

You have not provided one iota against beyond your personal protests.

No, it is your claim to defend!!

I have no idea where you got the idea that you, as the accuser get to make a claim and then expect me to have to show your claim is incorrect.

No responsible debate is conducted this way! If you are saying Fauci lied, you bear the responsibility to make your case! It is not up to us to do your work for you by, for example, making the case that "kkkoivei did not come from the Wuhan, US funded lab".

Think of it this way. If Dr. Fauci were put on trial for lying to Congress, the case would not proceed by having Dr. Fauci make the case that he did not lie! Instead, the government, as the accuser, would make the case that he did lie.

Think how absurd it would be for me to claim "there is a unicorn on the corner of 5th avenue and 42nd street" and then demand that you demonstrate that there is no such unicorn there! No, I would need to make the case that the unicorn is there.

Now then: what evidence is there that Dr. Fauci lied.

What have I accused you or anyone of - specific post, please.

The truth is that you (and others) are accusing Dr. Fauci of lying. And you need to make your case.

You are avoiding that by denying the evidence provided saying it's invalid.
You have provided no evidence! A headline is not evidence! Nor are mere claims by other people evidence!

This is not rocket science. All you need to do is:

(a) provide a direct quote from Dr. Fauci; and
(b) show that what Dr. Fauci said was incorrect and that he knew, or should have known, that it was incorrect.

Sorry Andre you are out of the line.

Provide your own evidence.
Nonsense.

Your claim, your responsibility to defend it - this is not up for debate, it is well-established protocol in debates.

If I make a claim, I always provide credible evidence when asked (if time allows, of course).

I see no credible from anyone here to support the claim that Dr. Fauci lied.

I can't believe you have not jumped at the opportunity to prove the US did not help to fund Koivey through the lab at Wuhan.

"I always provide credible evidence when asked"

I asked you two or three times.

Your protest against my methods has been noted and filed.

You are misrepresenting me again - I DID NOT SAY THIS and I will report you if you continue to distort what I say.

Here is what I posted:

Your selective editing of what I write is noted.

I have no intention of reporting for not defending your own claims with actual evidence. And a headline from a dubious website is not evidence.

However, I will continue to remind you and other readers that you are violating the principles of normal debate - the burden of proof is on the claimant, not on the objector.

Ok great, Andre.

You claim that the site is dubious, prove it.

And in the meantime, please create a thread with the title something like, "The US did NOT Help to Fund KoyVey from a Lab in Wuhan, China."

with multiple proofs from credible to you sites.
