I'm not familiar. I know they use medications to try and help covid patients. I just don't know what they are.
Thing is, he can probably do it (at least to commercial pilots). The FAA has authority (not OSHA).

We have had about 5,000,000 kids with covid, but the death rate is low. Still, about 700 children have died of covid in the US. I am not a fan of just ignoring their deaths.
One of my best friends lost their child to a rare tumor (about 200 children died of the illness) so it is not something most are concerned about. Still, it is devastating to see children die.

Some so-called 'facts' are clearly not factual. It's like what proceeds from Dr. F's mouth. He's supposed to be science itself. Yet the way he flip-flops all over the place, people can rightly discern that so-called 'science' is not as hard and fast as the elite would try and make us believe.
Politics is the problem.
If you went to your physician and he said "Ripp, ole' buddy...that treatment I put you on isn't doing it. Let's try this" it would be a doctor doing His job.
But if Faucci (I don't particularly like Faucci) says the situation calls for this and later says that isn't working, he's a quack.
There is more of politics than discernment in your post.

.Do you believe a doctors recommendation should change when knowledge of a pathogen changes to indicate another measure is needed, ot should the doctor stick to his original recommendation?
Do you believe it was wrong for those who recommended asbestos to recommend against it when it was discovered the fibers cause misophonia (although rare, no cure)?

On a serious note, one thing I do look for is consistency. I don't mean an unwillness to adapt to changing data but consistency in how the actual problem unfolds.
The mainstream experts have been fairly consistent.
When Trump shut down our government the Democrats declared covud was just a flu and Trump was using it for political purposes by overreacting. When Trump called to open governments they wanted to stay closed.
When Trump announced the vaccines and that they were safe and effective the Democrats cried they were dangerous...."Trump's vaccine". After the election they found redemption in a shot.
The anti-covid-vaccination crowd have posted their experts saying:
Covid is a New World Order conspiracy.
Covid is just influenza.
Vaccines are gene therapy.
Vaccines change your DNA.
Freemasons started covid.
Covid was designed to reduce the pooulation.
Vacvines contain fetal material.
Vaccines were made using aborted fetuses.
The Illuminati is controlling the virus and the vaccine.
Vaccinated people will die within 5 years.
Trump lied, the vaccines were not tested.
Vaccines were tested for 2 months.
India is not experiencing high covid deaths because of Ivermectin.
I could go on. All of the above is false and inconsistent.
Vaccines make you more susceptible to covid.
