Good. But this is not justice, it is closure. The criminals are punished and held accountable, but nothing the courts could do will bring Arbery back, provide comfort for his family, or make up for what he could have given to society.

It's about as close to closure we can get in this world.

A better closure would be to conquer the ideology that made these men think it was right to murder another human being. Apparently one of them posted a video thinking it was somehow in their favor.

Reading the title, it forces you to ask, "Was there other different colored people on trial?"

It's sad when skin color is the thing that is emphasized rather than the horrific actions of those 3 cowards who acted profanely. They all got exactly what they deserved. May God save them while they spend this life behind bars.

He was not giving anything to society. He was a thief stealing from society.

I agree. Skin color had nothing to do with the trial, as far as we know nothing to do with the crime.

A young man was murdered while running through a neighborhood that he often ran through.

It may be the murderers were racist, or thought a man could be judged by the color of his skin. I know there are racists around here. But ultimately they killed a man.

I do hope they are reached with the gospel of Christ.

Yes. He was charged with shoplifting from Walmart four years ago. I'm sure, in your mind, this disqualifies him from being a productive citizen.

And I'm sure, with you, his skin color has nothing to do with it.

I don't care what color he was. He was a thief. Jogger? Yeah right.

Well, we only know a few facts. We know the man worked out at his mother's home.

We know he ran every day - often through the neighborhood where he was murdered.

Like I said, I'm sure with you skin color has nothing to do with your remarks.

Not a thing. A person running away from a high burglary area arises suspicion. What does color have to do with it? It's kind of funny that calling someone a coward gets a mod warning, but a mod calling someone a racist is OK.
I learned early in life not to judge a man by the color of his skin. I also learned early in life that there are cultural differences between races, localities, nationalities, etc. A man is a fool not to recognize and observe cultural differences.

No. I would not recommend a member (Staff or not) calling another member a racist in a public discussion.

The men are from Brunswick GA (the murderers and the victim).

They are all American.

What are you talking about with "cultural differences"????

And what "cultural difference" would this man have because of his race that would make you conclude him a thief?

Walk in a predominantly white church one Sunday. Go to an all black church the next Sunday. Stay for the meals. Get back to me.
