I won't support companies if I can avoid it. Honestly, a few of my vendors I have no alternative but to use.

No more Carhartt stuff for me! I won't be burning what I already have as I paid for it, but I certainly won't be buying anymore of their products. Their products are well made. It's a shame they had to go full woke, although they already had a similar incident 3 years ago with some woke junk.

The fools in charge of Carhartt think that their customer base, I.E rural Americans, want wokeness. What a bunch of fools

Yes. I will support a company that mandates a vaccine and that does not mandate a vaccine.

I will not support a company or refrain from supporting a company because of their decisions regarding a vaccine.

I get tired of all the cancel culture whiners.

In the end, you must honor your conscience.

Where and when I can, I choose to do business with companies that most closely align with my values. Unfortunately, that is not always possible. Also, sometimes the alternatives are just as bad, if not worse. Boycotts often fail to achieve their intended result, and sometimes they backfire. The Left has called for numerous boycotts against Chick-Fil-A, and that company's sales always increase when a boycott is enacted. Goya Foods recently experienced the same thing. Lastly, boycotts almost always lack staying power. Consumer habits are hard to break.

A measured, truthful response. About as hard to find these days as trying to find common sense. Cheers.

The issue I have is people demanding other people submit to their opinions.

Look at Carhartt. Some people would want the business to suffer because they have decided to require a vaccine. This has nothing to do with the actual product.

This would apply to companies that don't require vaccines as well. If they produce a better product at a competitive price then they earn my business regardless of their business decisions regarding a vaccine.

This whole cancel culture thing is anti-American. People need to stop trying to force their beliefs on other people.

I work with a large Cardiology group doing nuclear stress tests.
Every day I have patients coming in with long-term Covid related symptoms.

My company requires vaccination (or weekly testing).
I was vaccinated as soon as it became available by my own choice.

With every stress test I do, I evaluate the person to determine their pre-test probability of heart disease.

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned to my coworker that we had a hot one, a patient at particularly high risk for heart disease…. one that could have acute problems during the study.

He came in to the lab complaining about our front desk screening process and when he found out that prior to the stress test we would perform a rapid Covid test on him, he became enraged and stormed out of the office.

Yeah, I’m tired of cancel culture whiners too.
IMO, testing, vaccination, and protection is not that big a deal in a health care setting.

The fool in the opening post picture is burning a hat that he admits he likes. That’s crazy!
I’m not so attached to brand name items.

    Rob
