Why were (Western Analysts) so wrong about Russia?

Who were paying those analysts?
I am not watching the entire thing, but the main reason is money. The weapons industry pays off enough congressmen to make sure we spend trillions on their hardware.
The host is an Austrian based in Vienna. The guest is Bulgarian based I presume in Sofia. Kast is paid from YouTube adverts, Patreon, subscribestar, and Paypal.
What caused you to ask this question?
