Now, I will make one thing clear- I can be friends with a h/s* as my priority is to lead them to the Lord. - But - I will not compromise my doctrine how h/s is an abomination unto the Lord.

At no time would I allow a practicing h/s to join our church, be baptized or to partake of the Lords Supper

Yes, we do need to preach that h/s is a sin - but like any other sin - it can and will be forgiven.
I believe the term is "Tough Love"

And if a h/s asks me why I do not use the term gay - I will tell them - hmmm I wonder if they know the original definition of "gay"?

To contend against straight marriage for a full 30 days.

Years ago before SCOTUS approved GM, a lesbian said in an interview that the GM fight wasn't because they actually think marriage is important. Rather, it is because they want to mock and contend against straight marriage as a Christian institution.
