Interesting Abortion Data

Thanks for sharing. I’ve heard reports this week that about 60% of current abortions are conducted through the abortion pill (morning after pill).

If that’s accurate, all the recent data could be doubled.

What you rarely see is studies in the long term effects of abortion on women. These include increased chance of miscarriage and higher rates of uterus and breast cancer cancer.

I remember a study about 20 years ago that women who have had an abortion are several times more likely to get breast cancer than women who live with a smoker will get lung cancer from second hand smoke.

Ny and Ca don't report. The number is twice that.

 

Even at 500,000 per year, times 50 years the total is 25 million. And that as others have observed may be quite a bit low. A true holocaust.

Is it possible to get demographic statistics on abortions? These numbers are huge, but I wonder what that really means about the growth (or lack thereof) of specific racial and economic demographics. My gut tells me we're missing two generations worth of Democrat voters.

1971 - 2017 Abortions by Ethnicity

Total - 43,425,000
White - 19,043,000, or 43.85% (Whites represent 60.1% of US population)
Black - 13,995,000 or 32.23% (Blacks represent 12.2% of the US population)
Hispanic - 7,566,000 or 17.42% (Hispanics represent 18.2% of the population)
Other - 2,809,000 or 6.47 (Other represents 9.5% of the US population)

So proportionally speaking, Blacks are over-represented in abortion statistics (nearly 3x more abortions relative to their population size). Hispanics are about on par for their population size. Whites abort fewer babies relative to their population size (again, ~44% of abortions with a population size of 60% of the US).

I am not drawing any conclusions here, just showing the data. And as others have mentioned, these numbers are probably low and inaccurate.

 

Here's a bit more context into the data. This time I combined all live births and all abortions to reach the total number of pregnancies between 1971 and 2017. Then dividing by the number of abortions, you get the total percentage of pregnancies that resulted in an abortion.

For over 46 years, 40% of all black pregnancies ended in abortion. I can't even wrap my head around that.

 

Given the founder of planned parenthood was a white supremest, eugenics proponent that specifically wanted to limit the black population in the US, you might think she had a lasting influence. Very sad

To which opinions do you refer, specifically, and why do you find it 'interesting?'

 

The fact is solid, abortion kills a disproportionate number of black babies. So Roe V Wade was just another "Jim Crow law on steroids.

 

There is a powerful song that refers to "strange fruit" hanging on trees. It is an allusion to lynching blacks and leaving their bodies hanging from trees. Now picture the strange fruit of millions of black babies hanging from the Democrat Holocaust Tree planted by Row V Wade!
