I have tried to explain it to you. Obviously, we are at an impasse about it. Guess we'll just have to leave it there.
We’re not at an impasse, rather your posts are talking past mine. Your posts have not explained anything.

I nowhere argued against his points about free market. It’s his naïve appeal to the Dem Progressive Left to have a change of heart, as if they care anything about the country. Their agenda is control, anti-freedom. They fundamentally hate America, its Constitution, its citizens. Their policies and the results of their policies are intentional.

If you, however, believe he is not making any such appeal, even though he is, then explain why.

I have said what I wanted to say. We fundamentally understand the article in different ways. And that's okay. I see no point in butting heads over it any further.

Folks, pay no attention to the false flag operation claiming the Republicans are just as bad as the Democrats. If we split our vote and vote against Republicans, then Democrats will win. This is the ploy of the Atheists of the Left.

Just to be clear, are you calling me an atheist? Are you calling me a leftist?

It's your vote. You can use it or not use it. You can vote for whomever you want to vote for. Some of us don't want anything to do with the Duopoly. Some of us have no interest in watching a race between an 81, going on 82, year-old Biden and a 78 year-old Trump in 2024.

Yet another off topic subject change post for the purpose of hiding truth.
I said you advocate a ploy of the atheist left. I am not a mind reader.

I posted an article defending the free market and somehow you want to turn the article into advocating for government interference in the marketplace.

LOL, liberals say one thing, such as vote against both Democrats and Republicans, which is a ploy of the atheist left, then claim what they said was vote for free market advocates. I kid you not...

Are you calling me a liar?

Do you think someone can vote differently than you for a reason other than being a "liberal" or an "atheist"?

More "putting words in my mouth" rather than addressing what I said. This is the sine qua non of liberals.

If the 2 major parties are scrapped, will something better take their place? Given the degree of polarization in our nation, much fomented by the more-clicks-for-me mainstream media, I'm not confident that said replacement(s) would do better for gas prices or anything else.

Yet another effort to put words in my mouth. Here for the second time is what I said:

Did I call or designate any individual as being a liberal? Nope. So once again obvious false implication has been posted.

I think we, or many of us, know Mr. Trump's energy independence policies generated much lower gas prices, than Mr. Biden's war on fossil fuel policies.

If the citizens of the United States don't try something different, then how can it get better when the two political parties of the Duopoly now play almost exclusively to their extreme wings?

If I had my way, there were be no political parties and every candidate for public office would have to stand on their own two hind legs as an independent without the crutch of a political party.

With the ginormous increase in the national debt by the Duopoly in the 21st century, especially in the last five years, plus the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates artificially low for so many years, general inflation was inevitable. A country can't inflate its fiat money supply by trillions of dollars in such a short period of time without there being inflation.

Then stop writing in such a way that you make it sound like you are doing so. Then you wouldn't have to be trying to cover what you have written by saying that you never intended to do such a thing. Please learn how to express yourself more clearly without making it sound like a personal attack.

Your posts unnecessarily tend to be written in way makes them sound like personal attacks. You do it so much as a regular feature of your writing on this board that it is difficult not to think that you are doing so on purpose and then just try to cover it up by saying, "Who? Me?"

Just another personal attack on me. Note this poster is not addressing the subject of the thread, and is allowed to do so non-stop.

In replying to me earlier on this thread in post #29 the following: "More "putting words in my mouth" rather than addressing what I said. This is the sine qua non of liberals."

Sounds like a personal attack to me. As the saying goes, "If it walks a like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it must be a duck." Do you still deny it?
