Federal Court Blocks Biden Rule That Forces Christian Doctors To Perform Sex Change Surgeries

A federal appeals court has permanently blocked a rule coming from the Biden administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) which demanded that religious doctors perform sex change surgeries in violation of their beliefs.

The eighth circuit’s decision comes months after the fifth circuit issued an opinionin August 2022 in Texas that struck down a reading of the Affordable Care Act which would require every doctor to provide sex change surgeries regardless of religious conviction. Friday’s decision affirmed this August opinion.

Indeed an august opinion. But what a hideous rule the Dems are trying to impose based on ObamaCare. The Dems care nothing for rule of law, especially when it comes to protecting basic rights. Those founders who insisted on the Bill of Rights deserve a lot of credit.

It doesn’t say it’s a “law”, it says it’s a “rule” from HHS.

Back in 1999 did the doctors consider gender dysphoria a mental illness that should be treated with therapy?

Problem is we (tax payers) end up paying for many of those surgeries.
