Is a business violating the First Amendment if they require a Christian be required to work on the Lords Day"

The Supreme court will decide!

Disclaimer - the article mentions "Sabbath"
This thread is not about what day the Sabbath is!
(if you want to go in that direction - start a new thread"

My first thought would be - does this former postal worker utilize ANY activity on Sunday that would require others working? ie Gas , eating out, paperboy delivering a newspaper, going to a ball game - ect.
IF So then he is NOT observing the Sabbath!

I use to manage a Christian Radio station.
When someone applied to a job - one question on the application was:
Are you available to work on Sunday? if they said "no" they did not get the job.
Surprising how some would then change their answer.
However, what I did do - I visited the 7th Day Adventist church - and found
someone who could use a part time job!

Why is Christian Radio going away?

Probably the costs!

Even a 1,000 watt station will have a big electric -, let alone one with 10, or 25 k
Minimum wage -back a few years ago - you pay a DJ - less than $10 an hour - now the minium is around 15 - that's a 50% increase

And of course we have to pay licensing fee to play the music....

My question, are orthodox and conservative Jews allowed take off Saturdays for their seventh day Sabbath? And also the annual feast day sabbaths where they fall?
