The FBI reportedly is secretly targeting supporters of former President Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 election, according to a new report.

During a three-month investigation, Newsweek spoke to more than a dozen current or former government officials specializing in terrorism. The experts revealed that the FBI is covertly monitoring MAGARepublicans because the domestic intelligence agency suspects that Trump supporters are the greatest threat of violence – possibly even capable of starting a civil war.
The in-depth probe reportedly found that the FBI clandestinely created a new category of violent domestic extremists that it intends to target: Make America Great Again followers.

In October 2022, the Federal Bureau of Investigation created a new subcategory of domestic terrorists labeled AGAAVE – which stands for anti-government, anti-authority violent extremism. The new subcategory is a threat group that is not anarchists, a militia, or sovereign citizen groups.

The new classification is officially defined as "domestic violent extremists who cite anti-government or anti-authority motivations for violence or criminal activity not otherwise defined, such as individuals motivated by a desire to commit violence against those with a real or perceived association with a specific political party or faction of a specific political party."

Sounds like your living in a police state? Shades of 1984.

Cool. Are you a hockey fan? I am a Dallas Stars fan.

I grew up when there were only 6 teams. The good old days, now I don't even know how many teams there are. I use to be quite involved with the game then but not so much now. But I will always be a Boston fan.

Yes, the Original Six. I had a boss, back in 2011, who was a big Bruins fan, so I watched them when they won the Stanley Cup.

There are 32 teams now.

When the North Stars moved to Dallas in 1993, I went to a game the first month they played there. Then took my wife to a game later that season on our honeymoon. :)

Fond memories of watching the games with my dad. Hockey night in Canada with Foster Hewitt. We went to a couple of games in Montreal and a few in Boston. Do you know who Willie O'Ree is? He was a neighbor. He used to practice with my oldest brother.

32 teams now. Quite a change from 6. I know they want to build a new arena here in Calgary. {over $1 billion} The cost of a game is high now so can only imagine what they will be then.

I prefer to watch football {soccer} now. My barber is from Jordan so he always has a game on at the shop. He keeps pointing the the fine points of the game. My Father in Law and I spent a number of hours watching the FIFA world cup games. The next world cup is in 26 hope to be around to see it.

A little history:
The FBI brought down President Nixon - deep throat was an FBI agent.
The CIA routine plants stories in the ever willing media to further their ends for good or for ill. Recall the 50 plus experts that suggest the Lap-top might be Russian disinformation?
Anyone who believes any of the "against the man" claims aimed at Mr. Trump is being "willingly ignorant."

No love for the Flames, or the Gretzky Oilers? Growing up in NNJ I rooted for the Rangers (Bobby Orr's incredible keep-away for most of a 5-minute major against NY in the PS was amazing but I hated it back then), but my younger brother took it to a different level, naming his son "Nyr", for the team's monogram.
