The Bible is very clear that Alistair Begg is WRONG on the advise he gave the woman who called him.

There are too many UNBIBLICAL responses on this thread mainly by some who are more interested in their own personal view and values than what the Bible actually teaches

Please... My responses are Biblical. I used the scriptures throughout the debate. At least give me credit for that.

Christians do backslide as king David did, they might still be trusting in Jesus but not following Him and the teachings of the Bible

So you think that living in open sin is ok. You think supporting that lifestyle is a good idea as it shows your love but the bible would disagree with you.
A Christian that is willing to compromise their valves need reevaluate their position.

Living in open sin is not backsliding it is rebellion.

I'm sorry. This is your thread that you created. I didn't mean for this to happen.

We all feel really passionately about this. We have family and friends who are effected by this. It really is a personal topic for everyone.

The question is simple, are you going to support open sin/rebellion or are you going to support the valves that we find in the Word of God?

Christ condemned sin you want to support it.

Yes you have used scripture but scripture used out of context is actually a misuse of scripture. The cults use scripture to support their false doctrines, are we supposed to accept what they?

Guys... things have gotten really heated. Maybe we should just take a moment to breathe and thank God that we have the opportunity to talk to each other about topics like this.

If you were to open your eyes and read my comments on the thread you just might see what I believe

And what I have seen in your posts in equivocation. On one hand you condemn sin then you turn around and justify it and call it backsliding. Sin is sin. Those that choose to live in rebellion through open sin should not be supported.

@Christina1 speaking for myself, I am not heated. What I am saying is that supporting sin is not showing love. Love is pointing out ones sin and showing them the love of God.

As you said we are to be like Jesus. Did He support open sin in the name of love?
