Honestly, I didn't think too many here would be into dancing or allow themselves this kind of a physical joyful expression. But, I also thought it might be fun to see if anyone else is enjoying watching this and/or would admit to trying it, or to feeling it, or doing it, or even being offended by it, I guess, and I don't know, but especially considering the times with the COVID and all the political ugliness going on in recent years, it is good to see people getting ready to break some chains and put the negativity behind, and finally I was curious to test the square meter here, so I posted it ;)

Perhaps some of you might just need to come out, still? Could be a little shy about having fun by expressing yourself? I understand this, because, I can recall at my second high school dance when I was standing by the wall as usual, when the time came for the girl's to ask and this beautiful girl, Mary Thomas came across the floor and pulled me off and away from that wall crowd. At first, I couldn't loosen up and felt I could hardly move, but it wasn't long before they played the Twist and I felt it and I let it go and that was when the night became alive!

Also, I'm always glad to give some helpful tips involving the biomechanical kinetics of any kind of movement being my physical therapy and personal training background. So, in case you need it:

All one has to do for the basic technique is to flex their elbows while putting palms up and out with a loose fist, then contralaterally extend and retract the hands and get your sway going and you're done!

For the more advanced, you don't necessarily have to be "done" at that point. If you want to step up the celebrative rhythm you can get those shoulders going in a fingure-8 with some contralateral hip rotation as you pump those hands, put that head back and get that chin up with some wobble and tucking going on.

Hope that helps. :)

What does "qt" mean?
It means my left little finger hit too high on the keyboard and missed its target of an "a" for "at" - "least once", AKA - it was a typo.

I mean, I didn't like seeing that typo and considered that I could have asked a moderator to fix it since I couldn't edit it myself, but I said to myself, I hope people will figure that out and was in doubt if it was worth bothering the moderators to go in and change it. Now, I see I was wrong that the typo would probably be obvious on top making the typo. Forgive me. :Frown

I should have figured that out. Reading it again, it does seem obvious.

Thanks for overlooking my obtuseness. I will try to look at the keyboard better.
