You see a different Trump than many of us do.
A very loud minority hate him to the point of death... that is not godly. I watched him carefully from the time of his salvation experience and I'm watching Satan attack Yehovah's appointed President. Romans 13:1

I don't hate the man. I don't agree with him. You're the first person I've seen say they have watched carefully from the time of his salvation experience. Tell us about his salvation experience.

Romans 13:1 applies to whoever is sitting in the White House including (God Forbid! I am just being hyperbolic here) Alexandria Ocasio Cortez should she ever get elected President!:Frown:eek::Cry:Sick

Which could very well happen as an act of God's divine judgment!

But Romans 13:1 still applies even in such a scenario.

This is something theologians have been debating a very long time.

One aspect is God gives us free will and permissive will. Permissive will being that He allows things to happen that He takes no pleasure in. God is all knowing. He knows everything that's going to happen long before it ever does. He used people like Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Isaiah, and the Apostle John to prophesy.

When people first came to this country from Europe, it didn't take long for them to be subjects to the crown in England. Yet, there came a time when people here turned against King George III, went to war against the hierarchy and formed a new government allowing people to elect others to serve in the government. Why did God allow the people to form the United States of America? Was our country intentionally formed to defeat a country who chose a leader that murdered 6 million Jews? If he chooses our leaders, then why did he choose Hitler over Germany?

Look at the history of our presidents and how inconsistent they have made policies. We can look at the last two presidents to see that. One allowed an open border the other did not. Was that God's will or was it our permissive will that He allowed it?

God gave us the ability to elect our government leaders. We should be Christians who are good stewards when it comes to electing others who follow Christ. But we are not. God knew this was all going to happen long before we were even in existence.

I was not there as he entered office the first time it was reported he he had converted and this instance is one accurate application of Matt 7:1.
