The label "Baptist" is technically accurate when applied to me in that I have been a member of more than one Baptist church and when I go to church it is almost always a Baptist church that I attend. However, my acceptance of the label of "Baptist" should not be construed as a blanket endorsement of their doctrine.
I attend Baptist churches because they at least make some effort to not be legalists and generally practice a faith that is in keeping with correct theology, even if by accident and/or in contradiction to their actual doctrine.Interact
