To show Christ guiding Trump's hand while writing to me is heresy. To do so is to indicate that Trump's writing is inspired, like Scripture.

I don't support Trump (or the Republican agenda), but I would trade Trump for Pence in a heartbeat. I would disagree with much of what Pence supports, but at least he'd be an adult about it.

Let's not forget that God raises up, puts down, raises up, etc... leaders of this world - whomever he chooses.

After his season of insanity Nebuchadnezzar glorified God.

Daniel 4:37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

He didn't do it with Obama.

Romans 9:18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

That's using your head. But here is what you'd get, a Born Again Catholic using his religion for RC agenda....IE salvation thru a sacrificial/sin/penance world view. The guy, if you scratch deep enough, is a zealot.

Again, not a Pence fan either. It's like choosing whether I want to be shot in the stomach or the foot. I'd prefer neither, but if I have to choose, the foot's my preference. Maybe it would hit my bunion.

    Think you are spot on!
All you have to do is read the OT and His using many that would compare accurately to either of the two you mentioned.
Is God judging America via Trump?? Too early to tell, but personally I feel that He did judge America via the ZERO, and just like in Israel enough citizens (& specially Christians) pleaded for mercy that we are given a second chance to get us back on the road to trusting/obeying Him, & if we blow it this time then Trump could be exactly the vessel He uses.
Only time will tell; meanwhile I'm far, FAR more optimistic for this country than I've been for at least 8 years (probably far more), because I KNOW WHO is still in command of Trump, the UN, Soros, and all else!

No. As far as I know they didn't pray Nebucadnezzar's prayer.

    Yea......a cracked pot! :Laugh

Then read Isaiah 5:21, Evil is called good & good is called evil. Even more disturbing is the fact that we seem to be totally helpless in preventing the demise of a nation that was once the envy of the world.

But lets take a look into scripture & see if this has happened before. Therefore I submit two cases --- 1) Sodom & (2) Nineveh

In the case of Sodom, God didn't even make an attempt to warn its inhabitants of the impending doom. Apparently the Sodomites were no longer capable of repenting. In Genesis 19 reveals the depth of their depravity.

Now with Nineveh the situation was quite different....Jonah in short bluntly told them that the city would be destroyed in forty days. Period!

To Jonah's disappointment, upon hearing his warning, the people of Nineveh declared a fast, put on sackcloth and turned from their evil ways. They were led by their King who ordered that even the domestic animals be covered with sackcloth & not fed. More importantly the king called for the people of his nation to "give up their evil ways & their violence" (Genesis 4:8). It was one of the greatest spiritual revivals in human history and undoubtedly prolonged the greatness of Assyria as a world power!

Knowing this, I don't put any faith in any politicians. They will not save the USA. THEY ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM!!! The prophet Micah Micah 6:8 gives us the model we are all brothers & sisters looking for---IE:

    1. Act justly
    2. Love mercy
    3. walk humbly with our God :Thumbsup

I agree. I misread your earlier comment to read that criticism of Christians' seeming adoration of Donald Trump was heresy. That will teach me to post before my morning coffee. :)

Oh, come on folks, there were plenty bowing down to Barack Hussein Obama.

One devotee of media fame even claimed he and most everyone else who hears an Obama speech has a mystical thrill going up their leg

    Chris Matthews http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/02/13/chris-matthews-i-felt-thi_n_86449.html

    Strange, really strange??

Granted many get teary eyed at Trumps name.

    Not me.

First, I just want a pro-life SCOTUS justice, not a wall (but a wall is OK) not a repeal-replace of ObamaCare (but that's OK too), but a pro-life anti pro-murder SCOTUS Justice, then IMO we can go from there.

IMO a pro-life justice nominee should have been FIRST on the agenda.

Mr. President you promised not to let us down. I'm waiting for you to do the right thing and fully expecting that you will do the right thing and swing the SCOTUS to ANTI-MURDER.

    Psalm 136
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

I live in Indiana. I liked Pence as a rep. Not so much as a governor. He followed too closely in his predecessor's footsteps of "cut spending on everything and hoard cash." We can't keep teachers. The DOT uses chip fill to repair our roads. I was just not all that happy with him as governor. But before that, he was an awesome rep. and made sure his district was ok. Just my $0.02.

Considering Presidents who had this disorder, it would be far easier to name the ones who didn't. If there are any.
