Who or what decided that a new testament canon be added to the bible?

Who or what decided which books should or should not make it into this new testament canon?

 

Probably satisfactory objectively every human is worth having around even put up with because of Jesus.

I don't think you should seek religions to protect you from God. Think you should let God protect you from religions.

Asking God yourself is always an option. Faith in God actually involved trusting God. He is the best friend you have and cares about you more then you do.

I'm for sincerity NT, be honest with yourself. Talk to the Father like its a Father.

Invite God over for breakfast or a coffee It sounds more ridiculous the more honest and sincere you get with yourself. Its fun too, taking a leap here and there.

God is Love. Typically we are all mouth and no ears in prayer. Sit a moment and listen for an hour instead.

What books are in your bible. Where did you get this list of books. Show me the list where you authenticate what is scripture and then show me where EACH WORK is authenticated as genuine.

The OT canon was already fixed at time of Christ, and the NT one by end of First century!

 

Please show me a canon from the end of the first century matching the Protestant sixty-six book canon.

You know you a reading the correct bible with the proper books from who? Who is holding the correct list?

Uncle Bob's bible right because Uncle Bob is GOD right? You keep asking well where did you get your correct list.

Eventually you find out the reason we can check to make sure your gospel of John is authentically worded is because some RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CATHOLIC is holding the oldest existent copy. And then in the same breathe you have to condemn them to hell as in service of the devil and can't be trusted to not tamper with the original.

Point is, You don't have bibles you have fakes, prove me wrong, show me where you got your list.

 

Show me where Rome gave to us the canon, spoiler alert, it didn't!

 

The OT canon was fixed already at time of Jesus, so NO additional books were to be added for OT, and the last authorized book was Revelation....

 

The best advice I can give is inquire about each church's status on Israel and the Jews. If they are not pro-Israel and have any hint of anti-Semitism, walk away.

 

That would eliminate so called rev Wright church, the place where President Obama joyfully was "fed" for 20 years!
