We offer Sunday School and Child Care for babies through 6th grade, Middle School age classes, and High School Age classes at the same time as our Adult Services. I started attending the Adult services when I was about 15 years old. I was also water baptized at age15.

I may have missed it, but I did not see where anyone thought the Bible offered guidance on this issue, so it is up to the discretion of the local body leaders.

We never know when the Lord will begin to deal with their hearts. I remember the Lord speaking to me and drawing me in a funeral at the age of ten. It was then that I was enlightened to the truth. I believe there is only ONE Gospel for old and young.

My daughter home -schooled her five children. In their previous church the children attended morning and evening services, only the very young being taken out to a crèche during the preaching. They had an afternoon Sunday School.

My daughter and her husband moved to a new town, her two youngest children are still at home, and my wife and I have moved to be next door. In our new church ll the children in the church attend the services. Young children can be taken to the rear of the church or there is a room just off the vestibule where they can be taken and the sound is relayed.

In our previous church the children did not attend the services as the Sunday School was at the same time as the morning service. This meant that the Sunday School teachers never attended a morning service.

In what way? Eternal Judgment? And its 20 not 12?

I baptized my youngest daughter at 6 which looking back, I should have never done it although Her understanding of God and the Gospel was through the roof

It just seems to me that we today baptize too soon. Maybe we should wait a while after Christ is professed?

Lots of people get wet then never return

The early church (2-3 century) would wait 2-3 yrs before they would baptize

For what reason so you think she should not have been baptized at age 6?

She now says it was too early. She was not old enough to understand its impact

Fuly understand - I was saved at age 11. Was about 2 years later I was baptized.
In our church you would go thur a 13 week series of classes learning basic
Biblical truths. As I looked back, I am so glad I spent those 13 weeks (one Hour each Sun Evening)
With that background - my baptism had such much more meaning and understanding.
