notice what the bible says . Eph 1 .
13¶In whom ye also trusted, AFTER that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also AFTER that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

“And the LORD thy God will circumcise thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.” Deuteronomy 30:6 (NCPB) This is the New Birth in OT terms.

No that's calvinism, not the bible . Only Calvinism teaches regeneration precedes faith . ( another clue )

Yes He does after one has already hardened his own heart first. He has the right to then make a vessel unto wrath after all . But man has a choice not to harden his heart first towards God . Just like Israel who first hardened before God did temporarily.

The bible teaches it and Calvin preaches it. If God doesn't save a person, they foolishly think they save themselves trusting in a false Christ idol.

21For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it PLEASED God by the foolishness of preaching to cause belief in those he saves. ..erm no TO SAVE THOSE THAT BELIEVE .

Wow, some folks here are really leaning hard on their anti-Calvin crutch as their excuse for denying the truths of God's word. It is sad to see them argue for the enlightenment of man as the cause agent that effects God to act.

    Unbelief precedes belief.
Jesus taught, Mark 3:28-29, "Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: . . "
So the simple answer to your question would be yes.

We should all be sceptical of Calvinism. its not the bible . Its a system that people embrace the whole of . Not just some of it because it may be useful, like some commentary or a few books we may read by a selection of theologians or scholars . This is useful . Even some times the cross references in the bible are useful . But here we have an entire system that's not the bible , coming from men and folks are lining up to sign up . We would say this was a cult in another light . How are folks not seeing this ? You've got some saying Jesus was a Calvinist ? And that the ' doctrines of grace ' is the Gospel or that john 6 is the Gospel . Its time to wakeup folks and smell the coffee .

Barry, only people who need a crutch for their doctrine lean on "Calvinism" as their main reason to hate scripture. You lean hard on it because you cannot refute the scripture provided against your argument. So, rather than argue against the truths of scripture, you just claim your opponent is a "Calvinist," and then you argue against the imaginary ideas you have constructed in your own head, while you ignore the scripture provided to refute your opinions.
Why would anyone have a conversation with you when you are involved in an imaginary argument against a John Calvin you have created within your own mind? So, go on and argue with your imaginary opponent, which you have constructed and no one else knows.

This is shown in the crucifixion. One thief defended Christ and asked that Christ remember Him the other mocked Christ. Christ told the one who defended Him that He would be with Christ in paradise. We all go some place when we die and there are only two places you can go. Heaven or hell
