    Acts 13:39

39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

If one comes to believe in Jesus, the True Jesus, it means they by Him have already been justified from all things ! See believing in Jesus name is the consequence of His Death alone for you, it hath justified you before God's Holy Law and Justice.

    Act 13:39 "and G2532 by G1722 Him G5129 everyone G3956 who believes G4100 (G5723) is justified G1344 (G5743) from G575 all things G3956 from which G3739 you couldG1410 (G5675) not G3756 be justified G1344 (G5683) by G1722 the law G3551 of Moses G3475. NKJV + TVM

    Both who believes G4100 (G5723) & is justified G1344 (G5743) are in the present tense. {The present tense represents a simple statement of fact or reality viewed as occurring in actual time. The action is Progressive (Continuous)}

Justification is the act of God by which He reckons / declares as righteous those ungodly sinners who trust in His Son. Paul is saying that through faith in the risen Christ a man can be justified. Man is not saved / justified by the Christ on the cross or in the tomb but by the risen Christ.

Christs' death on the cross was the propitiation for not just our sins but the sins of the whole world
1Jn 2:2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

but if He had not been risen no one could have been saved.
1Co 15:14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.
1Co 15:17 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!

One must be already Justified in order to be Justified by Faith. For Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen

    Justification is such a thing!

I see you still do not believe the bible. Read post #2 again. This time without the calvinist glasses. The truth of scripture will not change no matter how many times you try to twist it to fit your philosophy.

Cornelius was already justified before God by the Death of Christ before was sent the Gospel to believe. Let's look at Acts 10:22

And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.

That word just means Justified or righteous. It's the same word Paul used in Rom 5:19 translated righteous.

Now back to Acts 10. Cornelius didn't hear and believe the Gospel until vs 34ff

Now Peter spoke of this in Acts 15:7

And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe

So Cornelius believed because he was already justified.

You have set a new standard for Eisegesis. You have completely ignored the text and read into it what you want to find.

The word eisegesis literally means “to lead into,” which means the interpreter injects his own ideas into the text, making it mean whatever he wants. Eisegesis is a mishandling of the text and often leads to a misinterpretation.
    The process of eisegesis involves:
    1) imagination: what idea do I want to present?
    2) exploration: what Scripture passage seems to fit with my idea? and
    3) application: what does my idea mean?

I would call your comments entertaining if they were not so dangerous. Someone might actually believe what you have written.

The Elect are Justified by Christs Blood alone, and Justified from all things.

    Rom 5:9,19

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous [Justified].

    Isa 53:11

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

    Isa 45:25

25 In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

This is true because Christ by Himself made an end of their sins Dan 9:24

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

    Heb 9:26

26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

I would call your comments entertaining if they were not so dangerous. Someone might actually believe what you have written.

Rom 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

1Co 15:17 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!

1Jn 2:2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

You are searching for a text to support your errant view but you will not find one BF. The death of Christ covered the sins of all men but one is only saved when they trust in Him.

Justification ( and reconciliation, Romans 5:8-10 ) happened at the cross for God's people, so Cornelius was indeed already made just by the time he heard the word of God through Peter.

" But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. " <----------
" Us", "we", etc. = God's elect = believers = Christ's sheep = those with ears to hear and eyes to see = foreknown, predestinated, called, justified and glorified = chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world = God's children, the "whosoever believeth in Him".

    And then there's this:

" For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous." ( Romans 5:19 ).

Here I see that the Lord's obedience in going to the cross ( and suffering and dying for us ) secured that justification for us...
Otherwise we would still be in our sins with no hope...
    There would have been no salvation, no eternal life, no knowing the Lord for any of us;

But He did, and we that have believed on Him have our Hope.

    @Brightfame52
I thank the Lord for seeing these truths reinforced, especially in print, in these last days.
It took the Lord a long time ( from my perspective ) for me to begin to see these things in my studies, but now that I do ( and have now for some years ), there's that much more to be thankful to Him for.

    Such amazing grace! :Notworthy

The sole fact that Christ bare the sins of them He died for, that Justified them. By His Knowledge He foreknew them, as He knew His Sheep Jn 10:14,15

I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. or I bare their sins !

John Gill writes and I concur:

Justification is an act of God's free grace, whereby he clears his people from sin, discharges them from condemnation, and reckons and accounts them righteous for the sake of Christ's righteousness, which he has accepted of, and imputes unto them. Some very excellent divines have distinguished justification into active and passive. Active justification is God's act, it is God that justifies; passive justification is the same act, terminating on the conscience of the believer; active justification is strictly and properly justification, passive justification is improperly so; active justification precedes faith, passive justification is by faith.3

Free Justification sermon by Mike McInnis

The word “free” is simple enough to understand but seldom illustrated in this world and certainly not in any case when a price is attached to it such as we see in marketing ploys such as “buy one get one free.” Sadly the modern concept of “gospel preaching” which makes salvation a “free offer”, yet requires men to “pay” for it by exercising “faith” by the power of their own free will is as completely deceptive, as any of these marketing campaigns which use the word “free” If something is truly free then no price at all is ever expected or demanded. The justification which is procured by JESUS CHRIST in HIS death on Calvary’s cross is indeed “free” for those for whom it was purchased. Nothing at all is required of them to possess it. It is given “without money, and without price” to those whom the LORD has justified with HIS blood. There are no ifs, ands, or buts which are associated with the “free grace” of GOD which is manifested in the gift of faith, to those who are made thirsty by the work of HIS SPIRIT. Even the desire of the righteous is freely given to them as the SPIRIT works in them both to will and to do of HIS good pleasure. Faith is not an activity of the flesh of men, which GOD recognizes and then upon that basis, bestows justification upon those who thus believe. Rather the gift of faith which causes men to believe and call upon the LORD is simply the manifestation of the work of GOD in those whom HE has predestined to believe as we read in Acts 13:48 “And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. The work of “justification” is a work which is completely performed by JESUS CHRIST. HE has purchased that “justification” by the shedding of HIS blood as the SUSTITUTE of those people which HE has loved with an everlasting love. The scripture simply says. “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” (Rom 3:24) When the LORD says something is “free” then nothing needs to be, nor can be added to it. The natural man believes that he can, and therefore must, bring some sort of activity of his flesh before the LORD even as Cain brought his own offering unto the LORD. Thus by comparing himself with others, using what he considers to be “faith”, as the measure, he believes he can gauge his relative acceptance with GOD. Therefore it is no surprise that such men will fight against the preaching of “free grace”, and seek to overturn it by preaching a message which purports to be, “salvation by grace” but in reality is one which confuses “free” with some requirement which is to be added by men. Just like the buy one and get one free, offers, they tell us that if you will bring your faith to heaven’s marketplace then you can get “free justification” along with many other benefits. They call this “free grace” but in reality it is neither “free” nor “grace”. Grace by its very nature is free, and free cannot include any conditions or requirements. As Isaiah declared unto those who are “thirsty”, “come without money or price”, and “buy” (i.e.obtain) wine and milk”, so too does our LORD declare, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”.. The preaching of the gospel is not an “offer” with conditions attached to it, which if a man fulfill he can reap its benefits. The true preaching of the gospel is, rather, the declaration of what JESUS CHRIST has completely performed in procuring the eternal redemption of unworthy sinners. The pouring out of the blood of CHRIST has completely satisfied the claims of the justice demanded by the broken law. If that “payment” is made in full then there can remain nothing left undone for those who are its benefactors. This is “free justification”, and is truly a delightful message for those who feel their own just condemnation according to the present work of the HOLY GHOST in them. Now if CHRIST has already “obtained” this redemption for HIS people, it is clearly theirs. They could not possibly do anything to gain that which HE has already purchased. Thus we are sure that it is therefore freely given without price of any kind. https://media-cloud.sermonaudio.com/text/117171022584.pdf

This sermon points out excellently the slick deception of conditional Justification ! 4

Obvious from the text that this person does not believe his bible. Grace is free, we can not purchase it or earn it through good works. That's why we are told it is by grace we are saved through faith. Faith is the condition that God has set. Those that believe in Him will be saved those that do not will be lost.

That is such a simple concept that a child can understand it but this person and you do not seem to be able to grasp.

The reality is that this man is preaching another gospel a faithless gospel and should be ignored.

I believe the best witness Jesus Christ and His word the bible.

The false narrative of McInnis twist scripture to fit the calvinist philosophy. So while his comments may contain some truth the overall result is not truth but rather an attempt to mislead the unlearned.

The Lord gave him a good witness of the Truth and you reject it. Its sound scripturally.
