THE GOOD DEEDS

Hebrews 13.16.21

And of course, Paul never forgets the importance and value of the Good Deeds in Christ. And here again he mentioned Good Deeds and made very important conclusion comparing Good Deeds to a sacrifice to GOD (16). Indeed, then you do Good Deeds you are usually sacrifice something in order to do them, you time, your money, your resources whatever it may be, and by this you are not only serving those who are in need, but most important of all, you are serving GOD, and for your effort in Good Deeds "GOD is pleased" with you.

Can you please GOD without Good Deeds by your faith alone? I doubt it.

Who is actually equip us to do Good Deeds? He Is the One Who want us to do the Good Deeds and that is His will, as verse 21 explains. And "its working in us," in all of us "through Jesus Christ" Whom we love, obey, serve and worship. Is anything more can be said about importance of the Good Deeds? Actually yes, James also did not miss this very important matter, and important proof of our Faith and Love for GOD, as well to His Commandments and Statutes.

When Paul and others mentioned WORKS in negative way, they meant the WORKS OF THE LAW, Ritual and Ceremonies of the Law of Moses, the physical worship of the Lord which become no longer necessary under Spiritual Worship of GOD from the heart and the soul of a person.

Physical Rituals and Ceremonies conducted according to the Word of the Law, but the Spiritual worship of GOD is conducted according to the heart, in which Love and Faith for GOD generate Obedience to Him and His Commandments, by the will of the heart and not according to the Word of the Law.

As it written, in such people the Law already written on their hearts, and they do not need the written Law for that matter.

(Deuteronomy 11.18) (2Chronicles 30.12) (Psalm 40.7-8) (Proverbs 7.3) (Isaiah 44.3) (Jeremiah 24.7, 30.22, 31.33, 32.38.40) (Ezekiel 36.26-27, 39.29) (Zephaniah 3.9) (Hebrews 8.10, 10.16-17) (2Corinthians 3.3) (1John 2.7-8.14.24).

~ Good Works: (Nehemiah 2.18) (Matthew 5.16, 12.12) (Luke 6.35) (John 5.29, 10.32) (Acts 9.36, 10.38) (Romans 2.7.10) (2Corinthians 9.8) (Galatians 6.9-10) (Ephesians 2.10, 6.7-8) (Philippians 1.6) (Colossians 1.10) (2Thessalonians 2.17, 3.7-13) (1Timothy 2.9-10, 5.9-10.25, 6.18) (2Timothy 2.21, 3.16-17) (Titus 1.16, 2.7.14, 3.1.5.8.14) (Hebrews 10.24, 13.16.21) (James 1.22-25, 2.14-26, 3.13, 4.17) (1Peter 2.12, 3.6.11.17).

~ Works of Faith: (1Thessalonians 1.3.5) (2Thessalonians 1.11) (James 2.14-26)

~ Paul's profession and his works to support himself and others:
(Acts 18.1-3, 20.33-35, 28.30-31) (1Corinthians 4.11-12) (1Thessalonians 2.9, 4.11-12) (2Thessalonians 3.6-12).

~ Doers of the Law and not the listeners are justified by GOD:
(Ezekiel 33.31-32) (Matthew 7.21.24-27, 15.7-9, 23.2-3.5) (Mark 7.6-7-13) (Luke 6.46-49) (Romans 2.13) (James 1.22-25).

~ Love your enemies. Do good to them:
(2Kings 6.18-23) (2Chronicles 28.9-15) (Proverbs 25.21-22) (Matthew 5.43-45) (Luke 6.27-28.35-36) (Romans 12.20-21)

James 4.17
17. "Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do, and does not do it, to him it is sin."

Some people purposely distorting Holy Scripture and misinterpreting the word "Works" of the Law as Good Work, declaring and misleading by saying that no GOD Works are not necessary for Salvation. But Salvation is a combination not only of Good Works in the Name of Christ but also required Love and Faith. If one of these qualities are missing, Salvation is impossible, and the Promise of GOD for Salvation will not be activated until all the CONDITION OF SALVATION are met.

Next will be the James who very effectively explained the GOOD Works in Christ, and who will dare to argue with him?

Every 'final judgement' passage in the scriptures is all about works, faith never being mentioned even once, and evangelicals claim those that have never heard the gospel are going to hell. Go figure.

THE GOOD DEEDS AND EVIL DEEDS

If we study deeply and meditate deeply the verse bellow posted by a sister in Christ, we will see great mysteries and decipher profound enigmas, as follow:

No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. - John 1:18, <-

HE INVISIBLE GOD

Beginning by the Word. We all know that the Word is GOD:->John 1:1.

The Psalmist wrote:->Psalm 119:105-Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

And John Apostle:->1John 1:5-> GOD is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

Paul Apostle in his epistle to Timothy, said:->1Timothy 1:17:->Now unto the King Eternal, Immortal, INVISIBLE, the only wise GOD, be Honour and Glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Yes, Invisible and only wise GOD. However, we can see Him and walk with Him, and be one in Him. Our Lord JESUS, in His prayer, He asked to the Father to do this work in us who believe in Him. ->John 17:20-23:->

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;->(Our testimony).

21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the WORLD may believe that thou hast sent me. ->(Otherwise, the Word may not believe this).

22 And the Glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are One:

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made PERFECT in One; and that the WORLD may KNOW that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. (Otherwise, the Word may not know this)

Yes, GOD is Invisible, but we can see Him and walk with Him:->Matthew 5:8-> Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see GOD. -> Hebrews 11:27:-> By faith Moses forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing Him who is Invisible.

Analyzing deeply the Word of GOD->(knowing that the Word is GOD, GOD Himself, who was made flesh around 2000 years ago and was born JESUS->John 4:24 and 5:17 and 10:30), we must understand that the Word kills and makes alive, that is, GOD kills and makes alive. (Take a look what JESUS said:->Matthew 10:27-28 and Luke 12:5).

Deuteronomy 32:39-42 - GOD kills and makes alive

39 See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. - Alleluia! -
40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
41 If I whet my glittering Sword, and mine hand take hold on Judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood->(Psalms 45:5-6 combined with Revelation 6:1-2 and 19:11), and my Sword->(Hebrews 4:12-13) shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.

The Word of GOD(the Word is GOD) is the tree of GOOD and EVIL,->the EVIL is the letter, the mere letter of the Bible, the letter is literally MORTAL, Satan uses exclusively the letter of the Word of GOD to kills, it is MORTAL->(Genesis 3:1-11, take a look) On the other hand, the letter is Spirit and gives Life. The Word is GOD, GOD Himself, GOD the Father, GOD is Spirit:->John 4:24.

GENESIS 4:1-8 - THE BIRTH AND THE OFFER OF CAIN AND ABEL TO THE LORD

1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.->( No, not true, it was NOT from the Lord, but from the Devil(1John 3:10), she had gottten Cain by the sin of desobedience to the Lord. She lied. Cain was a son of Devil, the MAN of sin, son of perdition, the Devil. Cain was a seed of the Devil, not a seed of GOD.).-> JESUS confirmed :-> John 8:44, take a look.

2 And Eve again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

NOTE:-
> What did Eve say when Abel was born? She said nothing, was speechless. Why?
Abel was really of the Lord, Cain not, and Eve stayed/remained in silent. If Eve had said that she acquired a man from the Lord when Abel was born, it would have been written just like in the case of Cain, but she said nothing. The Devil prevented her from saying she had obtained/acquired Abel from the Lord.

THE OFFER OF CAIN - INANIMATE THINGS

3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.
5 But unto Cain(son of Devil) and to his offering(Cain used the evil side of the Word-the letter, the letter is like inanimate things, and kills) GOD had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6 And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7 If thou doest well(to use only the good side of the Word, that is Life), shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well(to use only the good side of the Word), sin(and death) lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

THE OFFER OF ABEL -

4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
Abel used the good side of the Word, the side of life, the side that is Spirit, Spirit of the Word, GOD is Spirit.

8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother(by the evil side of the Word, the letter, the letter kills): and it came to pass, when they were in the field(as we the believers are in the field), that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.->(2Corinthians 11:13-15 combined with 2Timothy 3:1-5 and Revelation 12:9 and Revelation 16:13-15, among other biblical references), they show us we are living in very very perilous times.

Daniel 12:10-12
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
