Remember this when an officer makes a request and a sudden move is made to reach in the pocket or under a shirt he as less than a second to react and if he hesitates he could be laying dead himself.

Quanel found that out first hand going through the Houston Police Department simulation, he hesitated and would have been killed. His words afterward to his people, follow the instructions of the police officer, do everything he says.

Guess what that is great advice!

"Pure foolishness as time and time again, it's being shown that this whole going for a weapon , reaching for something excuse is nothing but a farce."

Some farce - 48 law enforcement officers were shot to death on duty in 2014, and 539 over the past decade.

"Except the particular racial segment (Whites) are the ones committing MORE crime but they aren't being profiled."

Once again this true-but-specious statement is offered without context. LE has to consider the crime potential on an individual basis, and in that context, a white person is far less likely than a black to commit a crime. That this discrepancy is based far more on poverty and education levels than on skin color does not change the fact of the discrepancy.

The 2015 data isn't out, so let's look at 2010 as an example. We'll also look at Maryland as a whole.

    https://www.goccp.maryland.gov/msac/documents/2010_Crime_in_Maryland.pdf

Murder: A breakdown of persons arrested for murder was 92 percent male, eight percent female, eight percent juvenile, 77 percent Black and 23 percent White

Rape: A breakdown of persons arresred for forcible rape was, 12 percent juvenile, 49 percent Black and 51 percent White and less then one percent consisting of American Indian and Asian.

Robbery: A breakdown of persons arrested for robbery was 92 percent male, eight percent female, 41 percent juvenile, 77 percent Black, 22 percent White and less than one percent consisting of American Indian and Asian.

Aggravated Assault: A breakdown of persons arrested for aggravated assault was 77 percent male, 23 percent female, 18 percent juvenile, 53 percent Black, 46 percent White and one percent consisting of American Indian and Asian.

Breaking or Entering: A breakdown of persons arrested for breaking or entering was 85 percent male, 15 percent female, 26 percent juvenile, 48 percent Black, 51 percent White and one percent consisting of American Indian and Asian.

Larceny-Theft: The breakdown of persons arrested for larceny-theft was 59 percent male, 41 percent female, 30 percent juvenile, 50 percent Black, 49 percent White and one percent consisting of American Indian and Asian.

Motor Vehicle Theft: A breakdown of persons arrested for motor vehicle theftr. was 86 percent male, 14 percent female, 38 percent juvenile, 69 percent Black, 31 percent White and less than one percent consisting of American Indian and Asian.

Arson: A breakdown of persons arrested for arson was 82 percent male, 18 percent female, 41 percent juvenile, 37 percent Black, 63 percent White and less than one percent consisting of American Indian and Asian.

Carjacking: Blacks accounted for 70 percent of the carjacking victims, 26 percent white and all other races combined equaled four percent.

In Maryland, whites account for 60% of the population and blacks 30%. So in every case, even those where whites had a higher percentage of the total arrests, it is more likely that a member of the black population commits a crime than a member of the white population.

When a COP is walking down the street, he can safely racially profile knowing this information.

In Balitmore, 63.3% of the population is Black.
Generaly more crimes are committed in a large city, than in suburbs or rural areas.

Wrong as usual. Your numbers apply to the folks who COMMITTED these crimes. It is NOT a predictor of a propensity of the population at large in Maryland to commit a crime.

No he cannot. That's why it's racist. If he's walking down the street amongst folks who haven't committed these crimes, then the stats don't apply as these aren't the folks who committed the crimes.

All he knows about the folks on the street is that either they will or they won't.

And when you have a prison cottage system run by old white men who are in charge of the policing and the adjudicating and the jails, like anyone is surprised that the folks that old white men want enslaved would be the ones focused on to ensure that they are enslaved once again, while the white folks committing the same crimes are looked away from.

Now here's a tidbit you're neglecting and why the DOJ needs to look at the policing practices throughout the state of Maryland.

Because just like you, in the most racially prejudiced way that you could, say that a cop should be able to racially profile based upon something that is not a predictor of the general population, the crazy numbers in Maryland as compared to the national numbers show that there is some racially prejudiced, all around bad policing taking place in Maryland.

Nationwide, White people and Black people, according to the FBI numbers, respectfully, account for on average 70/30 % of all crime committed.

Odd that you get to Maryland and the numbers are 47/53%.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the policing practices in Maryland are just as biased as you've made them out to be for the reason that you've said a cop should be able to racially profile.

DNC? At any rate, as long as it does not deal with Democrat on Democrat murders--my guess is that 11 out of 13 are one Democrat bumping off another Democrat. And then there is the famous case where the wife shot the husband dead because he trumped her ace in a game of contract bridge....
