From Neal Boortz. It kind of sums everything up:

As I've said before, we have three basic classes of people in our society.
    1. There are the producers that create the wealth.
    2. Then there are the moochers that seek to consume the wealth created by the producers;
    3. and finally we have the looters who seize the wealth from the producers to transfer to the moochers in exchange for votes ... which is the same thing as saying\ in exchange for power.
    Yep. Nails it.

We now have a government of looters who give producers the shaft, so that they can buy votes from moochers.

He forgot the coupon clippers - the real rich invisible people who own us.

The lists of "richest people" only include new money. Ever seen Queens Juliana and Elizabeth on the lists?

At least Boortz can count to three. Most right wingers can only count to two: black, one . . . white, two.

    Yeah, we know...conservatives are racists.

    What a monumentally stupid viewpoint.

Most anyone else should realize that I was referring to the " A can't be not A," only two sides to every issue, no compromise attitude.

"Black and white" can only refer to one topic to some people.

Even tough I agree politically with Boortz, the man is very harsh against Christians. He has said some very nasty things about believers and I will not listen to him anymore.

Only if one can produce nothing but excuses or complaints about lack of 'fairness'. Everyone, no matter how 'poor' can contribute SOMETHING if they are willing- even if it is only prayer.

    No.

Moochers aren't necessarily poor. It's that they get theirs by taking from others, with no effort on their own part.

Being the looter culture is centered in DC, I would say looters might be very wealthy. They are the ones that think it's OK to take from earners, and give to non-earners--all to buy votes and retain power.

If I believed what you said, then I would never work with any benevolence or charity organizations (I do).

No there is no compromise to the liberal agenda. It must be defeated on all counts and everywhere. It is evil and should never stand anywhere.

No not according to the op, the op states "create wealth" has nothing to do with prayer or anyother contribution then "create wealth", according to the op 3 kinds of people, and everyone fits one of these catagories, either your wealthy, a moocher or a looter. I was addressing the op as it is, not with your additions.

I didn't say poor. The op sates you belong in one of these catagories, and the first is wealthy, so if you aren't wealthy, then your either a moocher or a looter, according to the op.

I don't listen to this guy. He is extremely rude to some callers. Instead of Boortz he should be called Boorish!

Actually the OP says "producers that create the wealth".

This does not mean that the producer is necessarily wealthy.

If you work then you are a producer.

I do not envy rich people. I have twice the income I need. I quit buying lotto tickets because I decided that winning would be a pain in the butt.

It bothers me that Republicans stir up class envy between the high end and the low end working class. All it does is to take our minds off of our rulers.

It bothers me that Americans think they are "free" because we vote for our tax collectors.

It bothers me that the people why cry "Constitution" are the biggest crybabies when they lose an election. Suck it up.

It bothers me that most people don't have a clue about who is running this world. I am double minded about their rule. As a WASP, I have no complaints about them trashing and exploiting the 3rd world nations for our benefit. As a Christian I am supposed to care.

Donna, you refuse to let anyone clarify positions.

Now, this is where you go into attack mode, and accuse me of not understanding where you're coming from.

And this is where I bow out, because nothing will be gained by arguing with you.

This conversation has played out a dozen times or more. I've watched it happen, many times. No sense in continuing.
