I do not believe anyone has claimed there is life on this or another planet beside earth. However it is interesting that it is in a zone that could support life.
This is where many in the fringe scientific community want to head IMHO. They want to find intelligent life so bad they'll jump at shadows. I'm all for exploration and good science but these kinds of ellaborate, unsubstantiated statements are outside the boundaries of reasonable inquiry.

I believe there is life on other planets and that God created it. Would it be like life on earth. I believe it would be very much the same as God would have used the same natural laws to create there as he did here. But that is speculation on my part.
I hold that God is much greater than we can imagaine.
And I don't disagree with you. Though I will say I believe there to be life outside of our solar system it is not intelligent and we won't, in our lifetimes, find it.
The reality is there is no way to definitely prove what we are seeing from such a distance. Not only are the events we are seeing, say on Kepler-22b, 600+ years old, the whole system might have undergone massive change since then.
There is no way to know whether there is life or whether a planet, so far away, can actually support life. The kind of scientific reasoning being used to support such claims is just bad science. We should be able to acknowledge it and call for more sane statements.
