Baltimore Vietnam veteran stands in front of protestors: 'I love my country'


Robert Valentine, a veteran of the Vietnam War, told rioters in Baltimore "they need to have their butts at home."

"I love my country. I love my Charm City," he said, placing himself between protesters and police.

He also said "I love my country, I love my Charm City, and I’m an American. I’m not black, white, red, yellow, or nothing; I am American.”

I think I would like Robert a great deal. He's a real American, considering he is also one of America's most maligned veterans.
