I'm unclear why you made this list. Care to explain what your intention was behind it?

I strongly disagree with you on #1 and avoiding Mother Theresa is going to be kind of tough, since I'll be spending eternity with her. I figure I can ditch her for 25,000-30,000 years, tops but sooner or later we'll end up next to each other around God's throne.

I believe Teresa did good works, but I find nothing in her words that indicated she had ever accepted Christ as her personal Saviour. I see where she swore allegiance to the pope and the Catholic church, but that is all I see. If that is all there is, then good works are in vain.
If you know of any statements she made other than what I stated then please post them here.

You forgot to include "all liberals, conservatives, and moderates". :D

Okay, Senator McCarthy, now that you've generated the list, please at least tell us line by line why. I'm especially curious why you're threatened by Mother Theresa

The list is some of the teachers and preachers that i see as in serious error.
i believe it helps define doctrine and error to discuss what is wrong with the teaching of certain famous people.

If her works were the result of faith, she was definitely producing fruit, but orchards!!!

If that's not convincing, how about one of her popular sayings:

"Be all and only for Jesus".

But you failed to explain why, or what their alleged errors are, so we can discuss them. Personally, on a few of them, I think you're in error about their error.

</font>[/QUOTE]i believe most Christians understand that mother t was a catholic and believed in a universalistic type belief system. she believed in purgatory and even suffering in this life as part of payment for sin. mother t was not a born again believer in Christ if she died believing as she did.

    massdak,
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

If she used the name of Jesus that is not the answer. If she won her converts to the Catholic Church, then her work was in vain. I am not judging her, that is God's business, but after reading aout her I never her about a profession of faith.

you may want to reconsider what you are saying here. mother t believed that a person could believe in any type of religion buddist, and others she has made reference that one need not know even who Christ was in order to be heaven bound. do you agree with her still?

Massdak, You are right. I hope she did repent, but so far I have not read of any account. What a pity.

...mother t was not a born again believer in Christ if she died believing as she did...

...I hope she did repent, but so far I have not read of any account. What a pity...

If she was not a born again believer, why did she publicly say the following:

"There are so many religions and each one has its different ways of following God. I follow Christ:
    Jesus is my God,
    Jesus is my Spouse,
    Jesus is my Life,
    Jesus is my only Love,
    Jesus is my All in All;
    Jesus is my Everything."

That sounds like a born again believer to me. If you guys don't think that's enough, you're obviously casting false judgement on her.

    Like???

I asked what you didn't like about these other folks, and you haven't listed them. Instead, decide to tack me on to your list.

To be placed in the same ballbark as Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell, and Mother Theresa, well, a Christian can think of few honors higher.
