In our local Newspaper - years ago, the Post-Standard ran the daily Billy Gramn Q&A. Well, some time ago - they saw fit to drop his coloum. It was replaced by local individuals who now just had an "inspiration" thought.
This was in from Thursdays edition.

Adopting a religion or a belief is purely a matter of the heart. It is a feeling, such as love, hatred, happiness and sadness. Then, the mind starts to ask the heart about this religion and its grounds. The heart will direct the mind to religious terms, holy books and words of the prophets. The mind will start to review those sources, logically trying to understand the religion the heart believes in.

Religion is all about rules and principles that shape the belief system in the heart. When the mind determines the rules and principles the heart believes in, it will take the risk of how to apply them to other human beings.

Applying a religious belief to other human beings can lead to a collision between people’s minds. Everyone has their own beliefs and feelings, as other religious doctrines may vary based on their different whims, not their reasons.

Very similar but more precisely Paul explained such phenomena in much more details.

    Romans 2.14-15

14.When Gentiles who do not possess the Law do instinctively what the Law requires, these though not having the Law, are a Law to themselves.

15.They show that what the Law requires is written on their hearts, to which their own conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts will accuse or perhaps excuse them,

Indeed, Gentiles did not possessed the Law of GOD. How can they be justified before GOD? Yes, they can be justified through their CONSCIENCE, because their CONSCIENCE, is their law. It implanted in all human beings from their birth by GOD. So, in this case the Gentiles had Law of GOD in form of their CONSCIENCE, which just like the Law of Moses tell the humans what is good and what is bad, but in much more primitive form. Because of it Gentiles will be justified by GOD according to their CONSCIENCE that produced their deeds.

Those who are under the Law of Moses, subsequently will be justified by the Law of Moses. Law of Moses is the next step up in human CONSCIENCE. It is like stepping into a high grade or institution, from a high school into the college. The Law of Moses is much more complex and detail-oriented, providing much higher level of spiritual growth and perfection compare to primitive Law of CONSCIENCE. Many Jews and Gentiles had been justified and saved by the Law of Moses.

Those who are under the Law of Jesus Christ (the Law of Jesus Christ are the spiritual Commandments and Regulations of the Law of Moses without physical rituals and ordinances), such people will be judged and justified by such Law. The spiritual Commandments of Jesus Christ which He took from the Law of Moses is the highest level of spirituality, and if they observed and obeyed, it raises the individual to the highest rank of spiritual perfection before the GOD. It is like stepping out of the college and entering the highest academy. There is no higher level of spirituality perfection than that one.

    Romans 3.30-31
30.since GOD is One and He will justify the circumcised on the ground of faith, and the uncircumcised through that same faith.

31.Do we then overthrow the Law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the Law. Amen.

    Romans 2.13
13.It is not the hearers of the Law who are righteous in GOD’S sight, but the doers of the Law who will be justified. (Luke 6.46-49) (Romans 2.13) (James 1.22-25)

Paul said no one will be justified by the works of the law. No gentile or Jew has been saved by the law. When James speaks of being “justified” by works, he is speaking of faith being validated by works.

What you are saying removes the gospel and faith in Jesus as a necessity for salvation. That is wrong.

    peace to you
