Tax Refunds Now on Hold in California

ABC News' Teddy Davis Reports:

ABC News has learned that tax refunds are now on hold in California for the first time in state history, according to the state controller's office.

With the unrestrained spending advocated by the Obama Administration, we must reasonably expect to get such a letter sometime in the future from the federal government.

My advice is to never end the tax year due a refund. Always owe something.

Good advise, actually.

Difference is that California is not permitted to write a bad check. The US Treasury will write any check that Congress tells them to and pass the expense onto the grandkids.
