    iF A SOUL SHALL SIN through ignorance AGAISNT ANY OF THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD - Lev. 4:2.


    a soul (nephesh, person) can swear, a soul (nephesh) has lips:


    Lev
    5:4
    Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil,........


    Here, soul (nephesh) means person, a mortal sinning person.
