    Salty, essentially, they did win. We wasted billions in that place and what do we have to show for it? Seems we ought to let the Taliban be until they start trying to expand beyond their borders. Then we bring hell down on them without restraint until they are contained again and we go back home with the warning, "Do it again and we bring hell down on you again."

    I think that the Afghan war ended the way the Iraq war ended--that is, Obama will be sending more troops back in a few months. Obama is the liar of the millennium.
