Yes, I know that...the Iranians are Persian, thats why I said "the Iranians and the Arabs".

Even tho they envy our modern wonders, they still hate us for not being muslim.

No, most younger Iranians do not hate Westerners for not being Muslim. There is a huge disconnect between most younger Iranians and the clerics in Iran.

Most of them (Iranians) are aware of how "we" overthrew their government (using a campaign of false flag terrorism) and installed a "friendly" dictator that used SAVAK to control the Iranian population in 1953. I don't imagine they have much love for us over that one yet either. The "regime change process" is nothing new it's just more overt now.

You mean like we are supposed to take this at "face-value"?:

7To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life

Show this text to any "average Joe" and they will take it as it reads - salvation by works. Unless that is what you believe, you should recognize that the Scriptures are not as simple as you (and I) might like them to be.

One of Paul's central realizations is that the promises to national Israel are really promises to "Israel according to the Spirit" and that the promise of the land is really a promise about the entire redeemed cosmos.

Paul, I claim, does not read Genesis 13:15 as a promise of Palestine to the Jews forever.

When Israel and Iran go to war we will see who disappears. Israel has a top notch air force as well as a well trained and battle hardened army. My bet is on Israel all theology aside. And, unlike the U.S., they will fight to win, not allow politicians use the war for their own political agenda.

That won't happen for the foreseeable future, if ever.

Ahmadinejad has no power in Iran to attack Israel. He is a loudmouth and nothing more in the area of military usage. Anyone who understands the Iranian governmental structure knows this.

Big difference here, Andre. Achish speaking and God' giving His Word are two entirely different things. I like the part where it says, Let God (like God) be true, but every man <edite - LE>.

Israeli Minister Says 'We Will Attack Iran' if Nuke Program Continues

JERUSALEM — Israel will attack Iran if it doesn't abandon its nuclear program, a Cabinet minister hoping to replace embattled Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was quoted Friday as saying.

    More Here

To bad Israel doesn't have the same understanding of the Iranian Governmental Structure as Ken.

Apparently most Kadima Party members don't agree with the Israeli loudmouth, Mofaz. From the article:

"A recent poll of Kadima members showed the more centrist Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni easily besting Mofaz in a party leadership race."

No one has provided any evidence that Iran has violated the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty.

Ahmadinejad would not even be in his position without the blessing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Hoseini-Khamenei. And Khamenei himself has said regarding Israel, "Iran's stance has always been clear on this ugly phenomenon. We have repeatedly said that this cancerous tumor of a state should be removed from the region".

How does this differ from Ahmadinejad's statements?

But they continue their uranium enrichment program, continue long-range missile developement, and continue to thwart IAEA inspections.

I do not think that your point here really works. The fact that Achish is a human being does not change the fact that here we have a precedent where the word "forever" does not really mean forever. Achish, even though he is a human, is smart enough to know that David will not be his servant forever. So there is no issue of Achish lying or anything like that - there simply is no matter of "God's giving of His word" being more credible than "man's giving of his word" that is relevant here.

In other words, Achish is not making a promise that he could fulfill and won't. Unless Achish actually believes that David will literally be his servant forever, we have case that shows that the word "forever" is sometimes not intended to be taken literally.

Which, by treaty, Iran has the right to do.

Only God has the right to the words "forever", "eternal", and "everlasting".

On the lighter side (or is it a lighter side, really?) how many couples are dating right now who promise each other they will love one another forever, get married, and then divorce after a month ?

    There goes forever.
