    Always, throughout Scripture, real, living religion is spiritual - even circumcision - of the heart. How did Stephen denounce the Jewish leaders? Declaring them uncircumcised in hearts and ears.

    Note how Amos's prophecy is changed in Stephen's defence - beyond Damascus was with promise of return. But beyond Babylon?

    Many thousands of Jews were saved as recorded in Acts - from every nation under heaven. At and after Pentecost, and by the preaching of Paul. Paul's last recorded words to the Jews were that solemn warning from Isaiah 6 and salvation for the Gentiles.

    The Jews' unbelief could not hinder the kingdom of God.

    What is the promise of Gen 14:19 that Abraham is enjoying?

    Doesn't that verse just say that the God who owns heavens and earth, blesses you?

    God used their unbelief as means to bring also the gentiles in , as both Jews/Gentiles have same Messiah, but God did not say that Israel had forfeited the Kingdom, but that was not for now!

    Augustine big problem was equating the Kingdom of God as being the Church of Rome here on Earth!

    All Israel are being saved by the Gospel, on repentance. Romans 11 says nothing about the nation, nor a return to the land.
