Hmm... World Net Daily quoting Breitbart quoting ABC quoting an anonymous White House official. Yep, must be true. Awesome news story too.

Obama would be a fool to incense the new Republican majority with a maneuver like that.

He is...and I expect He will. Remember He said "Republican can sit in the back seat"?

In McConnell's victory speech, the likely new Senate majority leader extended an olive branch promising bipartisan cooperation. If Obama is going to snub that right out of the post election gate, his approval rating will take another hit. Plus the American people will not like his executive actions on immigration. Frankly, I don't think he has the guts to do it. He's not much of a leader. Why would he start now?

Obama is going to throw the biggest fit after this Shellacking. Nothing more dangerous then someone with nothing to lose, but it will hopefully wake the American People up to the Dangers of Leftest Ideals and move this country back in the Right direction.

Obeyme will dictate thru executive action. We will see the Constitution be used as Charmin in ways we won't like. At least Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich worked together. I don't see Obeyme doing this.

I agree with you. He is going to issue an amnesty and the GOP is not going to do anything about it because they will not shut down the federal government for a couple of months.

I don't understand.

Obama issuing amnesty to illegal immigrants = GOP should shut down government.

I'm not following how that would be the logical response.

Besides, the GOP has shut down the government before.

They have to deny Obama money to do what he wants and they will not do it. By the way how happy are you to have re-elected Franken?

They have to shut down the government to deny Obama money? Really? Since when?

I didn't vote for him. I can't stand him. The Republicans ran a poor candidate against him. A sacrificial lamb.

I voted the straight Republican ticket. I voted against all incumbent judges (they don't list their party affiliation in Minnesota but I don't care, would have voted against the incumbent no matter what.) I also voted against the incumbent county sheriff.

I can't stand Franken either.

The GOP has to deny Obama the money to enforce his actions. For example, he wants to stop coal mining and coal-fired electric plants by EPA fiat. Indiana could lose 8 power plants and whole small towns in southern Indiana. On amnesty, he wants to make everyone in the country legal, which they say that he can only do until his term ends.

If Obama has no money to enforce his rules, he cannot do anything but issue statements.

Only Congress can allocate and disburse money. If Obama wants to make an executive action the money must come from the general budget of the department or cabinet that oversees that area. In your example he would need to allocate the money from the EPA's general fund. He can't just conjure up money out of thin air.

Here's betting that is exactly what he does.

He is an arrogant fool.
