An official statement from the family... “Audrii Danielle Cunningham will be missed, but hopefully not forgotten as we would like to ask Legislators and Law Enforcement both locally and in Washington, DC to look at the loophole that prevented us from knowing what Don McDougal was, a convicted sex offender. Public comments on this statement read as such...

Compassion is fine but a parent’s #1 responsibility is to their child. He clearly displayed who he was on his body. No child should be exposed to someone like him whether he was on a registry or not. There were plenty of other reasons that were obvious with just a pair of eyes and ears.

You don’t need a registry to know not let an unknown man with a tattoo of swastika on his shoulder to give your 11yr old daughter a ride to anywhere.
