    Yep.
    Live 30 min from there.

Anderson University is in my opinion very Liberal. Used to go to a church that met on their campus. I was good friends with a pastor who was a professor there. He was the most liberal Southern Baptist I have ever met.

The one I'm speaking of is affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. A SBC pastor recommended it but I do not know anything else about the school (I have not been in SC very long).

I'm from Spartanburg originally (and most of my family is there). I now live about 2 hrs away.

My son is looking at colleges.

    What about North Greenville?

Jon, my apologies. I was thinking of the Anderson University in Indiana. I looked at your OP again and you said SC.

I used to live in Rock Hill and had several friends go to Anderson. I don't know much about the school but I do know my friends really enjoyed it and they are now pastors.

North Greenville is a good school overall, but I'm not sure if it is good for theology etc. After all, it has churned out people like Steven Furtick.

He is not sure. He is a high school student, called to ministry & working with youth pastor.

    Just "feeling out" schools.
