ST. PETERSBURG — Ann Romney opened up Wednesday about her experiences with physical therapy at a ribbon cutting ceremony for a therapeutic playground at All Children's Hospital.
Fresh off her nationally televised speech at the Republican National Convention Tuesday night, the wife of presidential candidate Mitt Romney told an audience of medical professionals and select VIPs — very important patients — about the therapy she had after her multiple sclerosis diagnosis at age 49.
"To be able to just move and find joy in movement is a great blessing in life," said Mrs. Romney, in bright pink and pearls. She said she had been in a downward spiral before finding relief through the sport of dressage.
