Understand that 2019 was another record year for the Annie Armstrong Offering — $62.2 million - more than a million dollars than ever before.

    That's great news!

I am mixed on it. I still give to Annie Armstrong and Lottie moon, but I am not convinced the mission board uses the money as wisely as they should.

I do hope all these donations are in addition, rather than an alternative to CP giving!

For us non-SBCers, what is the Annie Armstrong Offering?

It is a special yearly fundraiser event to raise money for North American Missionaries (U.S. & Canada). It is usually above and beyond a typical SBC churches cooperative program offering.

    Annie Armstrong

"In 1888, Armstrong led the creation of the Woman's Missionary Union, helping draft the constitution and serving as its first correspondent secretary"

"...In 1934, WMU recognized her lifetime of work by naming the annual Easter offering for home missions in her honor. Thus, the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering was born with every dollar going to support missions work throughout the U.S. and Canada"
