    William, I wanted to take this opportunity to say a couple of things...

    I've largely ignored many of the debates in this forum because others have stated my views, and most of this stuff is in circles anyway. Besides that, it gets too personal too quick, and I'm not interested in going there.

    But you have stepped over the line for me to stay silent. You have said that anyone who claims that the NIV is the word of God is in darkness. Sorry, buddy...you're not allowed to trash my Christian faith like that in this forum.

    Your previous post compares the NIV to "Christian pornography." That is blasphemous. Please quit doing that. You hurt the furthering of your viewpoint (if you wish to be so pragmatic), but furthermore, you do not help the cause of Christ. Also, because this stuff has escalated (and to be fair, you have caused much of it but not all of it, by any means) and gotten personal...most threads have the shelf life of a few milliseconds. If folks (and primarily you) would calm down, maybe the discussion could be more productive.

    I want you to know that I have reported some of your posts before, but (surprise!) I have also reported posts of others with opposing views when they got personal. But I must be honest...your attacks have been more personal and less ethical than most of the others I have seen.

    Mr. Correa, your last post sounds as though you are getting very, very angry...to the point of going waaaay overboard on this. Why don't you take a break for a while? I think it would do you good.

    I've tried to say these things on my mind gently and with no malice. Please refrain from calling me a pervert, or consigning me to the fires of hell.

    Mods, I will refrain from another off-topic post, if this is such. If you must delete, then I understand. I'm just trying to offer william a bit of advice so he doesn't lose his posting privileges.

    I love you both in the Lord, but both of you are wrong. In your zeal to defend your beliefs about the version or versions of the Bible you hold to be true, you have both allowed yourselves to stoop to disobeying the very Bible you cherish.

    The Bible teaches that we should let nothing be done through strife and vainglory, but let each esteem other better than yourself.

    In all the name calling and dart throwing, you both are bringing a great displeasure to the Lord. And the devil is having a heyday.

    It may appear such to you but I defend the KJV, and preach and teach only from the KJV, yet william and standing both call me apostate, satanic, and unsaved.
    I do not believe I have acted in a manner designed to be self-aggrandizing (vainglory). I have acted in simple accord with the command of scripture.

    Psalm 119:104, "Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way."

    Psalm 119:128 "Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way."

    I don't consider it a sin to hate what God hates and love what God loves.
    I do not believe the Lord flinches from the Truth, nor does loving Truth and hating every false way cause the Lord to be displeased. It is the attitude "I am too spiritual to contend for the faith" that has allowed such vile false doctrine to get such a strong foothold among fundamental Baptists.

    Then you need to read more.

    I will await the mods decision before commenting further, but I see not error in TCass' post. We might not like his arrogance and his unforgiving stance for the KJV, but his take on Williams and SFiC are on the money.

    I await C4K's decision.
