Agreed! Rippon is so intent on arguing that he resurrects 4 year old threads looking for a fight.

The odd thing is if you don't say the right things to argue with him, he puts words in your mouth so he can disagree with them.

The above does not sound at all like a joke. It is an affirmation that the reason you prefer it is that it is your tradition. As I aptly summarized earlier.

 

The normative thing for R.S. is that he says things that are so strange that no one could make them up.

When I cite you, that's called quoting -- not making things up.
