Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Teaser #2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngElkyQ6Rhs
True story .... happened yesterday (Friday)
I was watching the news before work and I saw a young man giving a movie review - well, a TRAILER review - of the new Star Wars 7 coming out in December. I didn't know anything about this - let alone have never pondered over the cast.
I LOVE episodes 4, 5, and 6 which us old heads fawned over back in the day. I couldn't really get in to 1, 2, and 3 which came out a few years ago.
Anyway, this guy was talking about how he CRIED over the trailer and how emotional everyone was watching. I was like - "What?!?! Crying?!?! Who cries over movie trailers? Honestly - suck it up. Stop with the drama. What a dweeb. What a nerd. What a moron!!"
Then the guy said, "Let's show the audience part of the trailer."
And then a hand picks up a broken and burned Darth Vader mask and a voice begins talking about how his father had the force, how he has it, and how his sister has it.
My ears perked up!
And then an old and grayed Han Solo (Harrison Ford himself!) steps off a flying craft with Chewie and says "Chewie! We're home!!!"
I STARTED CRYING. For REAL!!! Yes, I am a dweeb, a nerd, and a moron.
I cannot WAIT until December!!
More of a Star Trek guy but loved Star Wars growing up. I'm not going to lie, seeing the Falcon again with Han and Chewie
William Shatner tweeted: "Oh and what was with that Han Solo line at the end? It sounded like it was lifted from the end of the Wizard of Oz! Toto we're home! "
Hope to see it! I adored the Star Wars movies.....as an 11 or 12 year old my mouth hung open as those grandiose opening scenes...the music, the neat scrolling story line, the amazing magic of being transported to a galaxy far far away.....
