The "you" is individual (but used collectively). The comparison is "as unto babes". 1 Cor 3:1

Stick to Paul and it will eliminate confusion. The Gentiles had little or no knowledge whatsoever of "the Law".
Their "human nature" (the Old Man) took control of their life; they were as "mere men" in that they were driven by their EGO.
As well, in Corinth such things as drinking and prostitution were culturally considered "normal" and acceptable.
They were not "tapping in" to the Christ within. They were not SPIRITUAL. They could not understand spiritual things.
A spiritual Christian loses interest in "carnality" naturally, no need for "laws", "commandments", etc.

You can repeat a mantra for as long as you want; convince yourself that it is true when in reality it is false. But when the evidence is put right in front of you and you ignore it, you are in sad shape. I put actual names of people and posted them and you claim no individual is ever called carnal. Are you in denial? Or don't you read the posts and simply copy and paste the same thing over and over again--the same thing. Read the post. Answer the points given.

So lets see Matthew 10:11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence
The word abide is the same greek word "meno" as the abides I have spoken of so the one Christ sent were to saved till they went hence? That doesn't sound right. Now if we use it as I have said it is used the sent out ones were to continue until they went thence. Sounds like that is how the word is used. Not sure where you find it to mean saved but the original Greek "meno" doesn't show that again per strongs it means:

    to remain, abide
    in reference to place
    to sojourn, tarry
    not to depart
1a to continue to be present
1a to be held, kept, continually
    in reference to time
to continue to be, not to perish, to last, endure
1b of persons, to survive, live
in reference to state or condition
to remain as one, not to become another or different
    to wait for, await one

Please pick the one you underrstand to mean salvation. We are to live for Him and be a state or condition of walking with Him. Again nowhere is it saying that this is salvation. It is our walking with Him.
