Aw, come on, Paul...you know better than that.

You couldn't be more wrong, no matter how hard you tried. Of course it's illegal

So, you just made a judgmental decision about me. How "not of Christ" of you. I requested the money from you, you should not make any judgments about me or ask me any questions. In order to show compassion you must simply give me the money.

I'll be waiting for it, hypocrite.

I did not judge. I made a statement of my lack of knowledge ... not your need. Christ never told us to be stupid! The Good Samaritan saw the need and responded. As I said, if I lived near you and knew of your need then I would respond.

But how about sending me $1200 so I can give it to four students here who come from very poor circumstances in Eastern Europe. I will not use it. They have need of it.

You didn't judge? You said "No, you might waste the money." That's not judging me? If you had a true Christ-like attitude you would trust me.

Liberals are great moralists and will cram their superiority down your throat every chance they get.

The Arizona proposal is a good one. It does not require the medical establishment to withhold care it only requires them to identify the patients legal status. This way they can be arrested and deported once identified. Texas needs to get on board!

So in Crabby's hypothetical he tells us that if he knew of someone's need he would help.

And then goes on to tell us about someones actual need - someone that he does know...

And instead of telling us that he is helping them asks others to help them.

And that is a perfect example of liberal charity - use other people's money.

Being an illegal alien is illegal; I never said otherwise. I said it's not a crime. For example, when the government acts to deport an illegal alien, it launches a civil action, not a criminal one.

at any time or place other than as designated by immigration
officers, or (2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration
officers, or (3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United
States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the
willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first
commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or

Friend are in into politics? You have to be with that statement. You might want to read the law on being here illegally
    ;

Under Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, "Improper Entry by Alien," any citizen of any country other than the United States who:
    • Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or
    • Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or
    • Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact;
    has committed a federal crime.

Violations are punishable by criminal fines and imprisonment for up to six months. Repeat offenses can bring up to two years in prison. Additional civil fines may be imposed at the discretion of immigration judges, but civil fines do not negate the criminal sanctions or nature of the offense.

Is it immoral of the Mexican government to have an economic & law enforcement system so dismal & corrupt that their citizens have to break the laws of another country to seek treatment ?

As usual, the only purpose these "victims" serve C.T.Boy is to back up his view of himself as a superior Christian.

When evil of another is used to justify evil of self both are caught in the same snare.

Under the proposed law hospitals cannot give medical treatment for non-life threatening conditions to anyone before the patient proves they are legally in the country.

Note in the quote from the proposed law that all potential patients must be checked ... not just ones people who are suspected of being illegal aliens.

So if you are taken into the hospital with a broken arm or leg ... not a life threatening problem ... how would you feel hurting and waiting until your spouse, friend or whoever went to your home to get proper identification, whatever that is, to show you are legally a US citizen? What is proper identification? From what I see in the proposed bill proper identification is not defined. If someone can find this information for me I would appreciate it very much.

    From the proposed law:

So if you are taken into the hospital with a broken arm or leg ... not a life threatening problem ... how would you feel hurting and waiting until your spouse, friend or whoever went to your home to get proper identification, whatever that is, to show you are legally a US citizen?

In the first place, a broken leg or arm do require emergency treatment. Being a "life threatening problem" is not a requirement. You made that up.

In the second place, got an Arizona drivers license or ID card,? You're in.

It's amazing how little understanding you have of anything you read.

Dramatizing a misrepresentation is not working out for you.

    From the proposed law:

I see nothing here that exempts a broken arm or leg. So, you are there hurting until you or someone can provide documentation proving you are legal.

Also, there are people who do not drive and have no drivers license.

Where did you get this information. It is not in the proposed law. It is not all that hard for an illegal to come by a drivers license.

Please give me a link to the information. Thanks.

Apparently you did not read the proposed bill.

Only a life-threatening condition qualifies as an emergency? We ought to hope our local fire departments don't define it that way.

"This is 9-1-1. State the nature of your emergency."

    "My house is on fire!"

    "Is anyone inside your house?"

    "No!"

'Well, then, you should have called the listed number for the fire department. This line is for emerencies only." [Clop]

Great law! I totally support it. Your scenario is almost without any merit and the chances of it happening are extremely slim. However you know good and well you are not opposed to the law because of the issue you stated. The law is a good law and needs to be passed there and in Texas.

It doesn't. He made it up.

But once he starts down that misrepresentation path, there is no stopping him. Facts don't matter.

He'll defend his lie to the bitter end.
