But Squires followed federal law and Army and Southern Baptist Convention chaplaincy protocol when he rescheduled a Feb. 9 Strong Bonds marriage retreat in order to involve a non-SBC chaplain, thereby accommodating the attendance of a lesbian couple, First Liberty Institute said in an April 17 letter to the Army in Squires' defense.

This episode is just the tip of the iceberg.
Now if a (hetrosexual) couple had registered and was found to be very active members of the KKK - I wonder what would have happened?

We've seen this several times now. I remember the Kim Davis situation. From my point of view, believers should not become unequally yoked with unbelievers in any situation, marriage, labor unions, and especially in the office of the Civil Magistrate. Remain separate and come out from among them.

I agree. We are the salt of the earth. A strong preservative. If we fail in our task the world will rot all the faster. "I'm too spiritual to get involved" is a cop out of the uncommitted man. :(

Jude 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
