Obama wasn't elected because people looked past his skin color. In fact just the opposite is true.

I think just the opposite. Had he been white, the young black voters would not have showed up in the numbers they did. His policies would have gotten more scrutiny, and he likely would never have gotten through half the primaries. I think the only reason he got elected was because he's black.

No man to include Satan is pure evil and it is wrong

    You aren't serious are you?

John 8:44 "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

I'm not saying you are the devil but I am suggesting that your analysis of Satan's character is wrong.

I know Christian Communists... as well as Capitalists...

But here in America, we were built on Capitalism...

And to throw it away for socialism spits in the faces of our founding fathers, and all those that have died to preserve democracy...

    Democracy is tied to Capitalism...

I can see what you're saying, but surely you don't agree with the ''Greed is Good'' mentality of big business. Jesus told people to charitable, and said it was easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven.

Not because he was rich, but because he was trusting in riches.

I am not talking greed... Greed is bad.

But Capitalism is not based in greed.. but freedom to be, and do what it takes to provide for your family...

It is based in, if a person doesn't work they shouldn't eat...
Proverbs has a lot of things to say about capitalism.

I am against "forced charity" one of the 5 pillars of Islam.

If a person works for a living, saves up for retirement, the Gov. should not take it away to spread it around to the ones that didn't work.

    There is no justice there.

Now if the person wants to give it away.. that is up to him.

    Nice dig and stereotyping.

So, Jim, am I a racist because I didn't vote for Obama?

I thought this kind of behavior was beneath you. :tear:

"Absolutely nothing" is simply not true. See AndyT's thread on the subject...:tonofbricks:

Jim, Winston Churchill said (paraphrasing here) that it is a page right out of the Marxist handbook, laid down by Linen himself, for all good communists to support and work toward helping weak socialist governments into power, and and when those governments fail to snatch absolute power and establish the communist state.

Likewise, was the former United Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) a communist state or not? A truthful answer here blows your statement out of the water.:tonofbricks:

When you cherry pick your Scripture references you can make the Bible support just about anything you want. However, what does the whole counsel of the Word of God have to say in this respect? How do you jive "If a man will not work, he shall not eat" with a socialist government program that feeds people who willing refuse to work for a living?

Good on ya. The question is do you elevate your personal experience and feelings as a source of authority over and above the authority of the Scriptures?

So you maintain that every white southern, midwestern, and southwestern person in the US who voted against BHO is a racist (and likely KKK member)? Nonsense! I have voted for black elected officials in the past and I likely will in the future so long as I agree with their political philosophy, idealogy, and worldview. I resent your implication here and as a brother in Chirst you ought to retract what you have said.

This is a dead on assessment of what happened last night. I'm not saying that saturneptune or the American people are 100% correct in their opinion of the Bush Administration. However, the fact is that the people are angry/fearful and they voted for "change" without knowing what kind of change they will be getting and without any critical thought about the man they voted into office.
