This needs not be an either/or situation. I place cards into books that will be veiwed by specific people. I usually put them into books dealing with reproductive issues and abortion. Health books for women and men are also good places. I seek places that deal with issues that interest people within their reproductive years. It is the target group we usually go after. Laying cards around is find but fewer people in our target group will get them.

If the ungodly choses to spread their filth, it is out of my control. They do that already in this library with the libraries approval. I, however, have a commision from the King of Kings to spread His truth wherever I go. That is my concern.

If our website led you to that conclusion, then you don't have a clue about Phelps' methods. We are as diferent as day and night.

Children are never in danger and we train up our children in the way they should go.

We never take children to sodomite events where lewdness as visible.

By breaking the rules, you damage your witness.

How about preaching when the governing authority says that it is illegal?

Sticking flyers into public library books WITHOUT permission is wrong. This is not a grey area! That you would point to the wrongness of someone else to justify what you're doing tells me that you somehow think you're above the rules that everyone else has to follow.

Your passion is admired, but if you choose to break the rules, you must be prepared to suffer the consequences, without whining about it and telling us how bad the things others are doing.

In regards to the OP, you really need to respect public property and not "litter" the library without their permission. Your motives are right-hearted, but wrong-headed.

Get permission to display your literature in the "free area" if they have it. If they don't allow it, well...that's another issue.

No one is saying you can't witness to abortion providers or homosexuals. What they said is that you can't go into the library and solicite. I assume the rule applies to everyone and is applied consistantely. Sneaking around and hiding tracs in books could very well do more harm than good.

But to answer you question directly, when they tell me I can't give away Bibles, I will give them away still. When they tell me I can't preach, I guess I'll be preaching from jail. When they tell me I can't stick tracs in books in the library, I honor their wishes.

    Granny,
I am inclined to agree with you, but I would rather ask a question.

Why is this 'putting a child in the ungodly antiChrist government public school system' child abuse?

Please, don't get me wrong, I work in the public school system now as a substitute teacher and Lord willing will soon be certified to teach. So, if this government public school system is the antiChrist, why is that true?

What do we do about all those other ungodly institutions.

We ought to always pray for all men everywhere and not to be so quick to call them names. There are many good sound teachers who care about the students they face everyday. Are school policies restrictive? Sure, but it is not the fault of those who are really trying to educate the children whose sometimes 'ungodly' parents are just thankful to have a place to send them out of their way.

You see, once we start calling names, we could go on forever and never stop.

I am going to leave your post, but anymore posts like this from anyone and I will delete it without warning.

The answer to your question is quit sticking stuff in the books or lose your library card. Pretty simple

    Thank you, Frogman.

I am very appreciative of the wonderful Christian Men and Women who teach in our public schools and since this is a thread about a library. I am also appreciative of the Christan Librarians. The Library has always been one of my favorite places and I can appreciate them because when I was a child, we just had a bookmobile that would come to the school about once a month, but to me as a child, it seemed as if forever between visits.

    I love books.

Aaron, if it is not abundantly clear to you, that is truly sad. </font>[/QUOTE]Oh no you don't. If you can't make it clear, then you're just leveling a railing accusation, something that Michael didn't do even against Satan.

Your little tactic is how the Communists justify their kidnapping of Christian children.

So tell us, how has what Granny described child abuse? Is it more abusive than letting them watch Will & Grace?

Her "young grandson's" are included in the "we" in:
    1. Taking out pictures of abortion/aborted fetuses
    2. They know, at a "young" age what sodomy, and the homosexual lifestyle.
    3. Her "young" grandkids being subject to harrassement from police, and witnessing their "granny" being shoved and threatened.
    4. Her "young" grandkids having parents that allow them to go with her and partake in this!

You see nothing wrong with that?

I looked ALL over that page, and have yet to see where it says "putting a child in the ungodly antiChrist government public school system is child abuse"

Perhaps I keep missing where is states that.
