Baptist Broadcaster Bows Out

It is a shame but not a shock. His show stopped being broadcast on XM Radio a while back and that cut off a large portion of his audience. Also, it got to the point where he was plowing the same fields every week. He rarely branched out to different topics. Usually he talked about marriage, family, abortion, etc, and once and a while he touched on Biblical/theological issues. That is why I stopped listening. It was always the same half a dozen topics. The Bible Answer Man with Hank Hanegraaff is a much better show since it is usually caller driven. I think Dr. Mohler just ran out of steam. Sad.

In spite of his involvement with the awful Manhattan Declaration, I have a lot of respect for him.

This is verbatim from the 'Manhattan Declaration' website -
"The goal of those of us who drafted and signed the document is not just to get a lot of names on a manifesto, gratifying though that is. We are seeking to build a movement - hundreds of thousands of Catholic, Protestant Evangelical, and Eastern Orthodox Christians who will stand together alongside other men and women of goodwill in defense of foundational principles of justice and the common good."

It seeks to foster 'ecumenism', which, in many cases is a tool of Satan to build unity at the expense of true Biblical doctrine.
The three groups mentioned above are diametrically opposed when it comes to how one is saved vs. how the Word of God says we are. And the Whorish Roman 'church' and its sister, the EO, are either (depending on who you ask) apostate or were never Christian to begin with because of their many heresies and, in the case of the RC'c', the 120+ anathemas (curses) pronounced against those who believe the doctrines of grace, etc. as presented in Scripture.
Unfortunately, it is a sign of the end times when the Bible says apostasy will increase.
