    Yes and no.

    I tried to take a course online 18 months ago and it just did not work. Ft Worth is really too far to commute to. Maybe Truett Seminary is a better option. For now it is on hold. Wife, daughter, church and work take up too much time.

    Thank you Rev G. I posted a few times a couple of years ago. Currently looking for info on the 2000 BF&M when I ran across this. I do a Bible study on Firday mornings with 5 other men. We are currently working through the BF&M.

    I would encourage anyone to get more education than just a Bible College. While a good start, it is most often NOT ENOUGH training for a life-long ministry.

    I was the Professor of Pastoral Ministries at a good ifb college and know first-hand that such training would have left my students woeful undertained for the rigors of pastoring.

    Undergrad at Maranatha Baptist.
    Attended Tennessee Temple 1 Semester.
    Finished Masters at Faithway Baptist.
    Attended BJU for 6 Doctoral Hours.
