The idea I believe is that Jesus and these verses Teach the Continual Existence of His Divinely Instituted church body assembly entity that He Founded during His Earthly Ministry, to be His Witnesses, in The Inner-Advental Age of churches.
And in spite of a church body of His, of which He is The Head, Holding her Angel in His Right Hand, Having her Candlestick, or Glory of God Shakina Glory Superintended Oversight and Enablement Removed, or that church body being slaughtered, etc., which we would think of as a gap, God has Revealed that Jesus has Always Had A Representative church of His on the Earth.
She is the woman who "fled into the wilderness".
There is abundant Historical evidence in writings of all types, Jewish, secular, and other religious folks, in many strips.
Although, those Historical records have been shown to establish a seemingly valid line of actual "Succession", as they call it, which may or may not be genuine, that "Succession" is not needed, or emphasized for God's Promise to be True, because of what I explained about: one particular church body that had Conducted God's Business for Him may have ceased, while there were others elsewhere.
There ABSOLUTELY IS: genuine succession of the Scriptural Baptism of John the Baptist, by God's Authority, as found in The New Testament, which I discuss, next, however, the 'Lord' s church to Lord's church documentation to independently varify an Historical record of continued 'links, from one to the other, is just not relevant.
The ABSOLUTE genuine succession of the Scriptural Baptism of John, by God's Authority, as found in The New TESTAMENT IS THE PRINCIPAL DETERMINING DISTINCTIVE REQUIRED and not any presumed' authorization', other than Scriptural Baptism, by a 'home church'.
A home church that is Organizationally, as well as, Practically and Doctrinally New Testament, in the several distinctive identifiers of what we are colloquially referring to as 'Baptist', because of their stand for Authority in Believer's Baptism and the other Baptist-type Teachings (which can actually be reduced to "Eternal Security" and "The Priesthood of the Believer", along with "Believer's Scriptural Baptism by Authority (church Truth), is not the one (i. e., 'the home church) that 'Approves of', or 'officially starts, or sanctions', the genesis of a new body of Believers to be a Scriptural church that may be acknowledged, by God most importantly, to be an organized church body assembling as the Kind of Divine Corporate Organism and Organization JESUS BUILT and PROMISED to Be with, as One of the Entities to which He, Overall, JESUS PROMISED PERPETUITY.
Their baptism is.
What?
Where did we go?
I was saying, "a home church" is not the body that votes, for example, to 'create' a baby, as it were.
The individual Believer's who HAVE RECIEVED BAPTIST BAPTISM from a Scriptural Baptist-type, Jesus Designed, New Testament assembly HAVE AUTHORITY WITHIN THEIR BAPTISM.
With the Jerusalem church Jesus Founded, there are several PREACHERS there were SENT OUT BY HER AUTHORITY.
OK.
That is that church assembly's own Corporate Authority to vote and send out a Preacher.
Then, if that Preacher found himself up in The Swiss Alps and won souls that he BAPTIZED, they all have God's Authority, Initiated God with John the Baptist's baptism that they all now process, although they are not yet organized.
Jesus Had it.
What did He have?
The AUTHORITY of God in His baptism He Received.
He walked 40-60 miles to get it, from the one place God Divinely Sanctioned that baptism.
Now, the collection of believers in the Alps are seeking first the kingdom of God and Righteousness, by the Word and in Prayer and have a Leading in the Spirit to FORM AN OFFICIAL CHURCH GROUP.
They agree among themselves.
They have New Testament 'Scriptural Baptism', from their Preacher that was sent from Jerusalem.
Does it need to be 'a Preacher'?
No, someone with Scriptural Baptism.
Do they need to 'ask their mother church, as it were, in Jerusalem, for' permission'?
No.
Does the Preacher, or person, who came and had Scriptural Baptism have to 'stay'?
No.
They are a body of Christ and members in particular, by The Authority of God found in The New Testament, with the Scriptural Baptism of God, through John the Baptist, as Jesus Said.
Our verse, "where two or three are gathered", says, " in My Name".
Meaning?
By The Authority of God to Conduct His Business, as His Witness, in the BIBLE MANNER AND PROCEDURE with which The Holy Bible Revealed is ACCEPTABLE to GOD, TO BRING GLORY TO GOD IN HIS CHURCH.
Remove not the Ancient Landmarks.
Where do they 'get their Pastor'?
Well, from God and The Holy Ghost through Prayer, to Call One Out from Among them, and there is generally a person that they would find confident to Lead their ASSEMBLY, before they agreed to organize, in Jesus Name.
The body of organized Believer's would then, also, choose their future Leaders and Officers, etc., and conduct their own, in dependant, Business for God.
They Observe the Ordences and church Discipline (which is the exact Bible context of "in My Name") AND CARRY OUT THE GREAT COMMISSION AS JESUS COMMANDED...... her.
God Knew a difference between His Jewish Faithful to His Instructions and Command, AS TO HOW HE ACCEPTED WORSHIP, and those perversions of Old Testament Christianity, which He would write, "Ichabod' on the door, and Ultimately Eliminated, in the Desolation of Abomination.
Yes, false religious practices are Spiritual Adultery for God's people and.... (?)...
Abomination to God.
